Boy Injured By Unknown Persons In Kashmir, Hospitalised

SRINAGAR: A boy was attacked and injured by unknown persons near Gulnar park area of Baramulla district following which he has been hospitalized.
Reports said that unknown persons beat and injured a boy identified as Zahid Ahmed Lone, a resident of Bagh-i-Islam Baramulla.
He has been shifted to GMC Baramulla for treatment where his condition is said to be stable.
Meanwhile Baramulla Police has reached to the spot and further investigation has been initiated. (KS)

SRINAGAR: Police on Tuesday said that a 14 Year-Old boy tried to self immolate over some “romantic issues” in Noorbagh area of Srinagar.
One Juvenile( identity hidden) aged 14 years of Rakh colony Noorbagh tried to self immolate himself, over some romantic relationship issue. He was rushed to SMHS hospital by responsible citizens. He has sustained minor burn injuries & is stable. Cognisance by safakadal PS taken.

Boy Allegedly Dies By Suicide In Ganderbal – Kashmir News

Ganderbal, May 08: A 19-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide on Monday by hanging himself at his grandparents home in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
An official told the news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the boy hailing from Authkhuroo Rabitar village allegedly hanged himself at his maternal grandparents home.
He said that soon after the incident, the boy was rushed to PHC Lar where he was declared dead on arrival.
“After conducting medico-legal formalities, body was handed over to his family for last rites,” the official added.
He said that the police have registered FIR and initiated investigations in this regard—(KNO)

‘Jawan’ fame director Atlee confirms name of his baby boy after SRK revealed on Twitter

Mumbai: ‘Jawan’ director Atlee who was blessed with a baby boy this year, on Sunday, finally revealed the name, a day after SRK shared that he met the little munchkin.
Taking to Instagram, Atlee dropped a picture with his wife Priya and baby boy from their visit to the temple.
Sharing the picture, he wrote, “Yes the name is MEER. Very happy to be revealing our little angels name.”

As soon as the name was revealed, the director’s fans and industry friends chimed in the comment section.
Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu wrote, “Congratulations darlings.”
Kajal Aggarwal commented, “Lots of love to all three of you!!! Big hugs to baby Meer.”
On Saturday, during the #AskSRK session on Twitter, when one of the fans asked about a specialty of Atlee that he enjoyed the most, the King Khan responded, “”@Atlee_dir is very dedicated and smart. Also now he has such a lovely baby Meer and Priya feeds me very good food. #Jawan.”
After being in a relationship for years, Atlee and Priya tied the knot in 2014. And the duo welcomed their baby boy on January 31, 2013.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Atlee shared a couple of pictures and announced ‘it’s a boy’. He wrote in the caption, “They were right. There’s no feeling in the world like this. And just like that our baby boy is here! A new exciting adventure of parenthood starts today! Grateful. Happy. Blessed.”
South director Atlee is known for films like ‘Raja Rani’, ‘Their’, ‘Mersal’, ‘Bigil’.
‘Jawan’ has put the spotlight on him as Shah Rukh will be acting in the movie.
The film was earlier slated to hit the theatres on June 2 this year but the makers have now decided to shift the official release date.
The actual reason for the postponement of the film is still not known.
The film is billed as an event film with high-octane action sequences. Shah Rukh’s production company Red Chillies Entertainment has produced it.
In June 2022, SRK unveiled the film’s teaser which opened with a glimpse of the Northern Lights over mountain tops. We saw Shah Rukh with his face in the dark, wrapping bandages on his face as the film’s theme music played in the background.
The film also stars South actors Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles.
The actor also hosted an ‘Ask SRK’ session on Twitter after announcing the release date of ‘Jawan’ on Saturday. From Abram’s reaction to the poster of ‘Jawan’ to fans’ request to release the movie at the earliest…SRK answered all in his inimitable style.

Video emerges of Hyderabad boy who dies filming for Instagram reel on rail tracks

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a Hyderabad boy lost his life while attempting to shoot a video for an Instagram reel. The boy, identified as Mohammad Sarfaraz, was a 16-year-old class 9 student who was hit by a train on railway tracks in Sanath Nagar on Friday. The incident occurred while Sarfaraz and his two friends were attempting to shoot a video for an Instagram reel, with a speeding train in the background.
Sarfaraz had his back towards the approaching train and was standing dangerously close to the railway track. While his friends moved away to save themselves, Sarfaraz was hit by the train and died.

The boy’s father said that he had left the house for Friday prayers and a couple of hours later, two of his classmates, Muzammil and Sohail, came to the house and informed him that he fell unconscious. When he reached the spot, he saw his son lying dead. The railway police have since recovered a mobile phone from the spot and have registered a case, taking up further investigation.

In a similar selfie craze incident that took place in 2021, three teenage girls of a family in Telangana’s Nirmal district lost their lives.
The girls were drowned in an irrigation tank while trying to take selfies. The tragic incident occurred at Singangaon village of Thanoor Mandal.
The deceased were identified as Elime Suneetha (16), her sister Vaishali (14) and their cousin Anjali (14).
Police said the trio accidentally fell into the lake and drowned while trying to take selfies for uploading them on social media platforms.
These incidents are a stark reminder of the risks associated with attempting dangerous stunts for social media.

Muslim boy tops UP Sanskrit board, beats over 13000 students

Mohammad Irfan, the 17-year-old son of a farm daily wage labourer Salauddin in Uttar Pradesh’s Chandauli district, has scored 82.71% in the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Sanskrit Shiksha Parishad Board’s Uttar Madhyama-II (class 12) examinations.
The board requires Sanskrit language and literature as two compulsory subjects, along with other subjects.
Irfan, who aspires to be a Sanskrit teacher, is the only Muslim among the top 20 scores in classes 10 and 12.

The boy reportedly got admitted to the Sampurnanand Sanskrit Government School because that is the only school his father could afford to send him to. Salauddin earns a mere Rs 300 per day and the school charged Rs 400-500 as an annual fee.
Irfan comes from a devout Muslim family and his father said that they have never stopped the kid from achieving his dreams.
“In junior classes ‘Sanskrit’ was a compulsory subject and it was from there that he developed a liking for the language. He now plans to do Shastri (equivalent to BA) and Acharya (equivalent to MA) and will then look for a job as a Sanskrit teacher,” he said, speaking to The New Indian Express.
Irfan on language- religion connection
“I’m not sure why people associate a language with a religion. A Hindu can be extremely good at learning Urdu, while a Muslim can be very good at studying Sanskrit. I am a graduate who understands the value of education,” Irfan said, addressing media on the question of people connecting certain languages with some religions.

Minor boy dies after truck hits him in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 05: A 4-year-old boy died after he was hit by a truck in Batamaloo area of Srinagar on Friday.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the boy was hit by a truck in Tengpora area of Batamaloo, resulting in serious injuries to him.

Hyderabad: Speeding car accident at Secundrabad claims life of food delivery boy

Hyderabad: A tragic accident that occurred near the Alwal police station limits in Secunderabad, claimed the life of one and left two others injured.
The deceased, reportedly a food delivery boy, was hit by a speeding car, driven by a female techie.
The incident reportedly occurred at night when a speeding car from Kanaji Guda hit a person, then continued to run until a high-tension pole made it stop.

The incident caused injuries to three people who were rushed to the hospital, where the victims succumbed to injuries.
