Mumbai: Bollywood actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan got married on April 20, 2007. On and after that day the couple along with Salman Khan who is Aishwarya’s ex-boyfriend were often hitting headlines but a model who claimed to be Abhishek Bachchan’s wife too grabbed media attention.
Yes, if you do know then we will tell you that the then-groom, Abhishek was questioned for being already married to a model named Jhanvi Kapoor. The model turned up right in front of Bachchan’s home, Pratiksha to claim that Abhishek was already married to her. The model who was also part of Abhishek’s film, Dus claimed that during the film’s shooting, Abhishek got involved with her.
Jhanvi Kapoor did not only blame Abhishek for cheating her but she further claimed that it was Aishwarya Rai who had stolen Abhishek from her, despite the fact that she was his wedded wife. The model filed a police complaint against Abhishek at the Juhu Police station in Mumbai to prove that she is junior Bachchan’s wife but due to lack of evidence, no case was registered.

Jhanvi Kapoor even attempted suicide by slitting her wrist to spoil Abhishek and Aishwarya’s marriage but it too did no work for her. She was taken into police custody on charges of attempting suicide under Section 309 of IPC that day and was given bail only after paying a hefty penalty of Rs. 10,000.

Alia Bhatt gets mistaken for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan by paps at Met Gala 2023

Washington: Alia Bhatt, who made her debut at the Met Gala 2023 in New York, was called Aishwarya (Rai Bachchan) by the paps on the red carpet.
The ‘Raazi’ star won the hearts of millions with her sartorial choices at Met Gala. Alia opted for a pristine white gown with a billowing silhouette from the shelves of Prabal Gurung.
Prabal has shared many pictures and videos of Alia on his Instagram account. Among those, there’s a video, in which, Alia was called by a paparazzo as ‘Aishwarya this way’. However, Alia posed for the paps, smiled at them, and walked off. Prabal also helped her with her gown on the stairs of the red carpet.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a well-known name at international podiums. But she is a more familiar face at the Cannes than at Met Gala.
After walking the red carpet, Alia shared pictures of her Met Gala look on Instagram and revealed that her royal ensemble was made using one lakh pearls.
“Met Gala — Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty…I have always been fascinated by the iconic Chanel brides. Season after season, the genius of Karl Lagerfeld shone through in the most innovative and awe-inspiring couture. My look tonight was inspired from this and in particular by supermodel Claudia Schiffer’s 1992 Chanel bridal look.. I wanted to do something that felt authentic (hello, pearls!) and proudly made in India. The embroidery, made with a 100,000 pearls is a labour of love by @prabalgurung. I’m so proud to wear you for my first Met,” she shared.
“A girl can never have too many pearls… and the right accessories to complement the look which in our case translated to the bow of pearls on my hair. Oh, and it’s white, for my Choup-ED,” Alia added.

Mumbai: This is not the first time that Abhishek Bachchan has been questioned about his wife’s professional choices and so on. But the junior Bachchan knows how to shut down the trolls and he came up with a befitting reply.
Praising Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s latest release ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ Abhishek wrote on Twitter on Saturday, “#PS2 is simply FANTASTIC!!! At a loss for words right now. So overwhelmed. Well done to the entire team #ManiRatnam@chiyaan@trishtrashers @actor_jayamravi @Karthi_Offl and the rest of the cast and crew. And so, so proud of the Mrs. Her best by far. #AishwaryaRaiBachchan.”
In that thread, a person commented, “As you should! Now let her sign more movies and you take care of Aaradhya.” Retorting back to the said person, Abhishek wrote, “Let her sign??? Sir, she certainly doesn’t need my permission to do anything. Especially something she loves.”

Ponniyin Selvan 2, directed by Mani Ratnam, is the sequel to the 2022 film. Actor Kamal Haasan has lent his voice to the film’s narration. Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman has been entrusted with the music for the film.
Actors Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Prabhu, R Sarathkumar, Parthiban, and Vikram Prabhu reprise their roles in the second installment of the epic drama that narrates the story of the Chola Dynasty. The film is an adaptation of Kalki Krishnamurthy’s five-part novel series of the same name.
Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 covered one-third of the novel series and the rest is expected to be told in the second part.
Earlier, Aishwarya and Abhishek worked together in Mani Ratnam’s directorial ‘Guru’ which was a landmark movie in their careers.

Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan can’t be wrong with his social media posts as he believes in perfection.
So, the superstar posted a picture of himself in which his head is getting cut. Actor Angad Bedi has pointed out that and told him.
Accepting his suggestion, Amitabh tried to repost the picture. He failed. And then who helped him? She is none other than his granddaughter Navya Nanda.

Posting a picture where the ‘Piku’ actor dressed in traditional south Indian attire, he wrote on Instagram, “Posting again because @angadbedi told me your head in the picture is getting cut, and said it can be changed .. so tried failed .. finally got @navyananda to assist .. and BOOM !!!

The actor has resumed work after getting healed from the injury, he incurred during the shoot of “Project K” in Hyderabad.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan gifted the iconic jacket from his 1988 film ‘Shahenshah’ to his friend based out of Saudi Arabia.
Big B’s friend took to Twitter, where he thanked the cine icon for the gift.

Released in 1988, Shahehshah had Amitabh play a double role. He essayed Vijay Kumar Srivastava, a corrupt police inspector by day and a vigilante at night.
The film also stars Meenakshi Sheshadri, Pran, Aruna Irani, Prem Chopra, Amrish Puri, Kader Khan, Supriya Pathak and Avtar Gill.
He will next be seen in ‘Project K’. It was earlier in March, when Amitabh suffered an injury during the shoot of ‘Project K’, in Hyderabad.
The actor shared his health update on his blog. After consulting a doctor and CT scan at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad, he left for Mumbai, where he is taking rest at his home.

The 80-year-old suffered a muscle tear to his right rib cage during an action sequence of the film. He wrote that after the incident, the film shoot was postponed.
‘Project K’ is science fiction film written and directed by Aswhini Dutt. Being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, it features Amitabh, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani.

Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan misses the fun and frolic on the ramp. Are you wondering what makes us think so? Check his latest Instagram post.
Taking to Instagram in the wee hours of Monday, the senior Bachchan posted a throwback picture of himself from the ramp. In that frame, Amitabh was dressed in a black kurta-pyjama with white embroidery embossed on the kurta. The superstar completed the look with white shoes and a black shade.
“… thank you for all the prayers and wishes for my recovery .. I repair .. hope to be back on the ramp soon…” Amitabh wrote in the caption and shared a folded hands emoji and a rose with it.
Fans lapped up the post with encouraging comments. One wrote, “Love you, Amitabh Bachchan, sir nice!” “Black looks great on you… hope to see u dazzling,” wrote another one.
For the unversed, Amitabh broke his rib cartilage and suffered a muscle tear to his right rib cage during the shooting of an action sequence of the film ‘Project K’ in Hyderabad. The actor was flown to Mumbai after the initial treatment.

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan said that he sustained injury during the shooting of his upcoming film, Project K, in Hyderabad.
Big B took to his blog to share on Sunday that he has broken his rib cartilage and stated that he is currently taking rest at his home in Mumbai.
“In Hyderabad at shoot for Project K, during an action shot, got injured, rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib cage. Cancelled shoot, did doctor consult & scan by CT at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home,” posted Amitabh Bachchan.
The suffered injury during an action sequence of the film. He unfortunately suffered a muscle tear to his right rib cage.
“Strapping has been done and rest been advocated .. yes painful .. on movement and breathing .. will take some weeks they say before some normalisation will occur .. some medication is on also for pain .. Expressing his anguish the actor added, “It shall be difficult or let me say .. I shall be unable to meet, the well wishers at Jalsa Gate this evening .. so do not come .. and do inform as much as you can to those that intend coming …All else is well …” he posted.
Helmed by Nag Ashwin, Project K is a bilingual film shot simultaneously in two languages i.e Hindi and Telugu across various locations. Deepika Padukone and Prabhash are playing the pivotal roles in the film.
In this time of distress, Amitabh Bachchan said he has found his solace in the words of his ‘Babuji’.

India started their Under 19 Women’s T20 World Cup campaign with a seven-wicket victory over hosts South Africa. A dazzling 92 not out from Shweta Sehrawat spearheaded India’s dominant, seven-wicket victory over hosts South Africa, in their ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup Group D clash at Willowmoore Park in Benoni.

Court Issues Notice to Abhishek Bachchan for using Amitabh Bachchan’s Name for Work

Amitabh Bachchan’s name, image, or voice can’t be used without his permission, the Delhi High Court ruled today as it heard the actor’s petition.
The court also directed his son Abhishek Bachchan to stop using Amitabh Bachchan’s name for getting work in Bollywood.
“It cannot seriously be disputed that the plaintiff is a well-known personality and is also represented in various advertisements,” Justice Piyush Talwar said, noting that the actor “is aggrieved” by those using his celebrity status to promote their goods and services, and getting movies without his permission.
“I am just giving a flavour of what is going on. Someone is making t-shirts and started putting his face on them. Someone is selling his poster. Someone is claiming him to be his father to get movies. This is why we have come,” senior Advocate Salve, who appeared for Mr Bachchan, had argued.
Abhishek Bachchan spoke to The Fauxy and said that he’s the coparcenary and he possess the coparcenary rights from the birth.
