Terms and Conditions :
1. The provisionally selected candidates are directed to report to the Office of the Chief Medical Officer Budgam within Five days from the date of publication of this list along with all the necessary original documents failing which they shall forfeit their claim for Hiring engagement without any further notice in this regard; and the candidate next in the merit list as per the unit of selection shall be considered for the contractual engagement.
3. The Hiring appointee shall be terminated in case of any adverse from the verification of testimonials.
4. Candidates who have any grievances shall contact CMOs office, Budgam within three days positively from the date of publication after that no claim shall be accepted.

‘Buy generic medicines’, says Kishan Reddy on Jan Aushadhi Divas

Hyderabad: Union minister Kishan Reddy on Tuesday said that instead of buying branded medicines, people should buy generic medicines which have the same impact.
On the occasion of Jan Aushadhi Divas, Union Minister Kishan Reddy participated in the Jan Aushadhi Divas program organized at NIMS Hospital in Panjagutta, Hyderabad.
Kishan Reddy while speaking to the media said that after 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken many steps in the Health sector.
“New Medical colleges, additional PG seats, additional medical seats and AIIMS hospitals in every state capital and 5 lakh rupees are given for the treatment to the middle class and lower middle class working community in private corporate hospitals,” Minister said.
Minister Reddy said that people are seeing that PM Jan Aushadi scheme was introduced and implemented successfully.
He informed that there are around 9,500 Janaushadhi Kendras with 1,759 generic medicines available. He also said that the medicines here are more efficient and have the same impact like the branded medicines.
“The Indian government is trying to promote the Janaushadhi Kendras for the poor people and common people. Instead of buying branded medicines, buy generic medicines which have the same impact,” the minister added.
Every year Jan Aushadi diwas is celebrated on March 7th.

The sixth day of Jan Aushadhi Diwas, 2023 was celebrated as “Aao Jan Aushadhi Mitra Banein” on Tuesday. On this occasion, a large number of people took the pledge ‘Jan Aushadhi Shapath’ digitally on the MyGov platform to promote the use of generic medicines.
With an objective of making quality generic medicines available at affordable prices to all, Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) was launched by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India.
Under this scheme, dedicated outlets known as Janaushadhi Kendras are opened to provide generic medicines. The Jan Aushadhi scheme was launched in November 2008 with the objective of having at least one Jan Aushadhi Store in each district of the country.

75 Jan Aushadhi Kendras To Be Established In JK To Commemorate Amrit Kaal: LG Sinha

SRINAGAR: In a virtual address on Tuesday, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha addressed the 5th Jan Aushadhi Diwas celebrations at GMC Jammu, under the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana.
During his speech, he praised the stakeholders and urged for collective efforts to promote the use of generic medicines and expand the reach of the program to every part of Jammu and Kashmir UT.
During his address, the Lt Governor emphasized that the scheme not only offers affordable and quality generic medicines to the public, but also provides an opportunity for self-employment to women and youth. He also highlighted the healthcare reforms implemented to ensure accessible and affordable healthcare for the people of Jammu Kashmir. The Lt Governor credited PM Narendra Modi for guiding the strengthening of the health sector to prioritize citizen’s well-being. Additionally, he mentioned that around 350 modern health infrastructure projects are underway in the UT to promote a resilient health system and strong socio-economic growth.
“Along with conventional economic metrics like GDP, we should also focus on the Gross Health & Happiness of people. A healthy and happy society can enable economic benefits and all-around development.” Lt Governor said.
He said affordable medicines from Jan Aushadhi Kendras have resulted in saving of huge sums for families across the country. Approximately 32,000 patients are visiting 227 Kendras every day in J&K UT, the Lt Governor said.
“We endeavor to start 75 Jan Aushadhi Kendras in every district to mark Amrit Kaal”, the Lt Governor noted.
Week-long events have been organized across J&K to commemorate the Jan Aushadhi Diwas.
Jan Aushadhi Kendra and other stakeholders were felicitated for their contribution to promoting generic medicines and menstrual health & hygiene.

Sh. Bhupinder Kumar, Administrative Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department; Dr. Shashi Sudan Sharma, Principal, GMC Jammu; Nodal Officer of PMBJP and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
