Joint Director Information, Mohd Aslam appointed as nodal officer for G-20 summit

Srinagar, May 09: Jammu and Kashmir government has appointed Mohd Aslam, Joint Director Information, Kashmir, as the nodal officer and ‘single point of contact’ for upcoming G-2- summit in J&K UT.
“With reference to minutes of the meeting dated 16-02-2023 and directions issued on 8-05-2023 during review of preparations for G-20 summit, it is hereby ordered that Mr. Mohd Aslam (JKAS) Joint Director Information, Kashmir (Contact No. – +91-9419000155) shall be the Nodal officer & Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the forth-coming G-20 Summit in the UT of J&K,” read an order issued today.
His roles and responsibilities would be “to ensure proper implementation of the Comprehensive Media plan prepared by DIPR, covering all activities for information dissemination and proper coverage of the G-20 event,” and “to ensure proper coordination and liaison with Tourism Department and other stakeholders as required.

Atif Aslam blessed with baby girl on first day of Ramzan

Karachi: Popular Pakistani singer who has amassed a huge fan following across borders because of his unique voice is over the moon currently as he is blessed with a baby girl on the first day of Ramzan. Atif Aslam and his wife, Sara Bharwana welcomed their first child baby boy in December 2021 earlier. The couple welcomed the second child on the 23rd of March, 2023.
‘Tu Jaane Na’ singer announced that he has become the father of a baby girl on his Instagram handle by posting a picture of his little angel. He informed in his post that both Sara and the baby are fine and also revealed the name of the newborn.
The caption of Atif’s Instagram post reads, ”Finally, the wait is over. The new queen of my heart has arrived.. Both baby and Sarah are fine Alhamdulilah. Please do remember us in your prayers.. Ramadan Mubarak from Halima Atif Aslam …23/03/2023 #ramadan.”
The singer wished ‘Ramzan Mubarak’ to his fans on behalf of his newborn baby girl who has been named Halima Atif Aslam. Moments after posting the picture of Halima Atif, netizens flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages.
One user wrote, Congratulations Sir. May Allah bless her a good and healthy life. Ameen. Mohammad Aslam Takes Charge As Joint Director Information Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Mohammad Aslam (JKAS) on Monday assumed the charge of Joint Director Information Kashmir in presence of Deputy Director (PR) Srinagar, Bilal Mukhtar and other senior officers/ officials of divisional office at Srinagar.
The officers and officials extended warm welcome to the Joint Director on assuming the charge of the division.
Mr. Mohammad Aslam has previously served as Project Officer Wage Employment, (ACD) Anantnag; Deputy Director Estates, Kashmir and Joint Director Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Kashmir.
After assuming charge, the incumbent Joint Director held an introductory meeting with officers and officials of the department during which he took overview of the functioning of the department.
Speaking on the occasion, he impressed on the employee to ensure punctuality and regularity in duty, besides, he also asked them to perform their assigned work with vibrant attitude and dedication.(KNS)

Atif Aslam to perform with Firdaus Orchestra live in concert in Dubai

Mumbai: Pakistani singer Atif Aslam, who is known for songs such as ‘Woh Lamhe’, ‘Bakhuda’, ‘Tu Jaane Na’, ‘Aadat’ and several others, is heading to his first live international concert of 2023 with the Firdaus Orchestra in Dubai, next month.
The singer will be treating fans with his most popular numbers including ‘Pehli Dafa’, ‘Jeena Jeena’, Rafta Rafta’, ‘Be Itehaan’, ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’ and many more. This will be the first time, he will be performing with the pioneering all-women orchestra featuring musicians from over 24 nationalities around the world.
Talking about the live concert, Atif said, “This is my first international concert of 2023, and what can be a better place than Dubai to start this new year? I have performed before for my UAE audiences and they have always been kind to me. I am filled with gratitude to start this musical year in Dubai and hope to bring some joy and happiness through my performance. Music has no barrier and I always try to bring people close together through my performance.”
The concert, which is set to be held at the Coca-Cola Arena on March 4, 2023, is organised by Blu Blood.
