    BJP condemns Bandi Sanjay’s arrest

    [ad_1]

Hyderabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has condemned the arrest of its Telangana unit president Bandi Sanjay Kumar by police in Karimnagar.

The BJP leader was arrested late on Tuesday night. Terming the midnight arrest of Sanjay from his relative’s house as illegal, the BJP leaders alleged that fear has gripped Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government in the state.

BJP’s national general secretary B.L. Santosh tweeted that the BRS government has touched raw nerve by arresting BJP state president and MP Bandi Sanjay. “This will be the last nail on their political existence,” he wrote.

    MS Education Academy

Santosh said that rattled, riddled with corruption charges and facing electoral reverses, BRS and its leadership is a sinking boat.

BJP general secretary in-charge of Telangana, Tarun Chug, has said that the arrest of Bandi Sanjay is politically motivated and is the result of a ‘filthy vendetta’ which is rooted in the cells of ABRS. “The blatant misuse of police machinery to intimidate opposition leaders in the state is the pattern followed by the Telangana government,” he said.

Another central leader of the BJP, Amit Malviya tweeted that in a midnight operation, the Telangana Police arrested Bandi Sanjay on fabricated charges of being involved in a secondary school paper leak. “This won’t end well for KCR,” he wrote.

Bandi Sanjay was arrested by police from his in-laws’ house in Karimnagar around 12.45 a.m. Though police were tightlipped about the charges, he is believed to have been arrested in a question paper leak of the Class 10 exam.

Sanjay, who is also a MP from Karimnagar, is likely to be produced before a magistrate later in the day.

“Fear is real in BRS.! First they stop me from conducting press meet & now arrest me late in night. My only mistake is to Question BRS govt on its wrong doings. Do not stop questioning BRS even if I am jailed,” reads a tweet on Bandi Sanjay’s Twitter handle.

Sanjay’s wife Aparna told media persons that police dragged him, denied tablets and water and injured him at mouth. “He came to Karimnagar to participate in Chinna karma of my mother who passed away 10days ago. Is it fair to do this to a grieving family?,” she asked.

Tate Brothers released from detention, placed under house arrest

    [ad_1]

Former kickboxing champion Andrew Tate has been released from detention and placed under house arrest in Romania, along with his brother Tristan Tate. The two brothers were detained by Romanian authorities in February 2023, after being accused of drug trafficking and other related charges.

According to sources, Andrew and Tristan Tate have been moved to separate houses in the same area in Romania, and they will be monitored by local authorities. Andrew Tate’s lawyer confirmed the news of his client’s release from detention and expressed relief that he can now be with his family, albeit under strict conditions.

“Mr. Tate is relieved to be out of detention and is grateful to the Romanian authorities for granting him house arrest. He looks forward to cooperating with the authorities to resolve this matter as soon as possible,” said the lawyer.

The decision to release the Tate brothers from detention came after a judge in Romania reviewed the evidence against them and found that there was not enough to keep them in custody. However, the judge ordered that they remain under house arrest while the investigation continues.

The Tate brothers have denied the allegations against them and have maintained their innocence throughout the ordeal. Andrew Tate has previously stated that he was in Romania to promote his new book and had no involvement in any illegal activities.

Andrew Tate is a former world kickboxing champion and has also competed in mixed martial arts. He is known for his controversial views and has been involved in several controversies in the past, including being kicked off the reality TV show “Celebrity Big Brother” in 2016 for making offensive comments.

Tristan Tate is also a kickboxer and has competed in various tournaments across the world. He is the younger brother of Andrew Tate and has been supporting him during the detention period.

The case against the Tate brothers is ongoing, and it remains to be seen what the final outcome will be. However, with their release from detention and placement under house arrest, they can now be with their families and continue to fight their case.

The Romanian authorities have not commented on the case, but sources suggest that they are investigating several other individuals in connection with the alleged drug trafficking ring. The investigation is ongoing, and more information is expected to come to light in the coming weeks.

    trump indictment 58318

The Manhattan district attorney’s office asked for Donald Trump to surrender on Friday following a grand jury’s vote to indict the former president.

But lawyers for Trump rebuffed the request saying that the Secret Service, which provides security detail for the former president, needed more time to prepare.

The exchange, which was relayed to POLITICO by a law-enforcement source and confirmed by Joe Tacopina, a lawyer for the former president, underscores the extremely delicate, unprecedented nature of the indictment. Until Thursday, no ex-president in history had been criminally charged. And both the charges itself and the application of them have placed the country on uncharted legal and political terrain.
