    The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education has released the practical centre notice/datesheet for the HSE-II (Class 12th) session annual regular 2023 examination. The notice has been released for the Sub-Office Anantnag domain, specifying the centres and dates for the practical examinations.

    According to the notice, the practical examinations will be conducted for the following examinees at the centres mentioned against their roll numbers as per the below-mentioned schedule. The examination will commence at 2:00 PM.

    The practical examinations for HSE-II (Class 12th), session annual regular 2023 in the Sub-Office Anantnag domain are scheduled to commence from April 6, 2023.

    JKBOSE Submission of online forms for Annual Exam

    Submission of online forms for Classes 10th, 11th and 12th Annual (Regular) Examination 2023 of Hard Zone Areas of UTs of J&K and Ladakh.

    It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned students falling under Hard zone areas of UTs of J&K and Ladakh who could not submit their online examination forms for classes 10th, 11th, and 12th Annual (Regular) Examination 2023 (Hard Zone Areas), due to one reason or other that they can submit their Examination forms for the said classes online with a late fee of Rs 12,000/– in addition to the prescribed fee mentioned in Notification bearing No F(Acad-C) Rev-Fee B23 dated 27-03-2023.

    The link for submission of online examination forms shall be made available on 04-04-2023 to 05-04-2023.

    Telangana: Singareni sets highest annual coal production record

    Hyderabad: The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) produced 671 lakh tonnes of coal in the fiscal year 2022–2023 and set a record for the highest annual amount of production.

    SCCL transported roughly 667 lakh tonnes of coal, which is 2% more than the previous year. In addition to this, it has provided coal to thermal power plants in eight other states and to over 2,000 different sectors nationwide, a press note informed.

    SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N Sridhar stated that on March 31, Singareni transported 2.64 lakh tonnes of coal, the most in its history, breaking the previous record of 2.59 lakh tonnes set on March 11, 2016.

    The business has set a target of 750 lakh tonnes of coal production for the fiscal years 2023–2024 after being encouraged by the coal production turnover achieved during the current fiscal, he added on Saturday.

    According to Sridhar, Singareni has also broken a record by removing 418 million cubic metres of overburden during the current fiscal year, which is 7% more than the 392 million cubic metres attained in 2017–18.

    Sridhar stated that five of the total 11 coal mining locations under Singareni had exceeded their goals by a large margin. He added that the underground mines also performed well during the current fiscal, with 8 mines achieving more than 100% production.

    He said the performances of open-cast mines were also very encouraging, with 11 out of 18 open-cast mines, which are the main sources of coal production in Singareni, achieving 100% production.

    Jammu and Kashmir board of school education has Changed the date of Examination of Higher Secondary Part 1 (Class 11″) Examination Soft Zone of UT of Jammu & Kashmir from 16-04-2023 to 26-04-2023.

    According to notification released by JKBOSE that It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the date of examination of the subjects scheduled to be held on 16-04-2023 (Sunday) for Higher Secondary Part-1 (Class 11h) Annual (Regular) 2023 Soft Zone Areas of UT of J&K has been now rescheduled, in view of the N.D.A examination to be conducted by U.P.S.C on the same date across the country.

    The examination of the subjects which were scheduled to be held on said date, i.e. Computer Science, Information Practices, Environmental Science, Functional English, Physical Education, Islamic Studies, Vedic Studies, Buddhist Studies, Travel,
    Tourism and Hotel Management, English Literature and Food Technology shall now be held on 26″ of April, (Wednesday) 2023.

    New Delhi, Mar, 31: With the Board of Control for Cricket in India announcing the new set of central contracts for its men cricketers for the year 2023, former India captain Virat Kohli has retained his spot in the topmost A+ category of players earning Rs. 7 crore per year.

    An annual salary which is 12 times more than Babar Azam makes under the recent 2022/23 Pakistan Cricket Board central contract. The Pakistan captain is bracketed under the red and white-ball contracts category of players, who earn 1.25 million PKR (Pakistan Rupee) per month. Amounting to 43,50,000 INR per year. Which is almost 12 times less to what Kohli makes under the new contract.

    The top tier salary in PCB contracts is less than half of what the C category BCCI central contracted players such Sanju Samson and Arshdeep Singh earn per annum. Other than Babar, the top tier category in PCB central contracts includes Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Imam-ul-Haq and Hasan Ali.

    BCCI announced the updated contract categories on Sunday with the notable changes being an under fire batter KL Rahul being demoted to Grade B while all rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s promotion to A+ category.

    Alongside Jadeja and Kohli, captain Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah are other members of the top-tier category.

    Hardik Pandya, R Ashwin, Mohammad Shami, Rishabh Pant and Axar Patel are just below them in the Grade A category and will pocket around Rs 5 crore.

    Srinagar, Mar 23: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) Thursday released date sheets of 10th to 12th standard annual regular exams in hard area zones of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh Union Territories.

    According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the exams in the hard zones will commence from April-08.

    BOSE has said that exams of vocational subjects for class-10 will commence from April-08 while the exams for core papers will begin from April-10.

    The examination of 10th standard in hard zones culminates on May-04 in core subjects and May-09 in other subjects.

    Likewise, the examinations of 11th standard in the hard zones commences from April-12 and culminates on May-14,

    Similarly, the annual regular board exam of 12th standard in hard zones begins from April-11 and culminates on May-15 respectively.

    Pertinently, the BOSE had identified 444 such schools in the both divisions of Jammu and Kashmir for which annual regular examinations will be held in the month of April instead of March.

    Besides, the Board has also declared the whole Leh district of Union Territory of Ladakh as a hard zone and has accordingly directed to conduct the exams in the Month of April.

    It had also said that the annual regular examination of hard zones or such areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh shall be held in the month of April.

    “Result of annual regular examination of Kashmir Division and Jammu division and Union territory of Ladakh including hard zones shall be declared simultaneously in the month of June,” BOSE said in a previous notification—(KNO)

    Cairo: Egypt’s annual inflation nationwide reached 32.9 per cent in February 2023, the highest rate since the end of 2017, according to an official report.

    The prices of food and beverage went up by 61.5 per cent, transportation, by 19.4 per cent, healthcare, by 16.8 per cent, and clothes and shoes, by 18.9 per cent, Xinhua news agency quoted the report issued by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, as saying.

    Meanwhile, the prices of various commodities and services climbed by 24.7 per cent, it added.

    The Egyptian pound has lost about half of its value since March 2022, when the Central Bank of Egypt started to order rounds of devaluations amid a shortage of foreign currency, particularly the U.S dollar, necessary for imports.
