    SRINAGAR: Power Controller Kashmir has informed that, the power supply to Receiving Stations Nowpora, Achabal, Seelu and Bomai shall remain affected due to facilitate augmentation/twining woks on May 09 and 13 from 10 am to 3 pm.

    Similarly, in order to facilitate urgent preventive maintenance works the power supply to receiving stations Harwan, Shalimar, Brain, Sonwar, Dalgate, BB Cant and Rajbagh shall remain affected on May 10 from 10 am to 2 pm.

    Likewise, the power supply to receiving stations Pulwama and Pinglena shall remain affected on May 09 and 10 from 09 am to 5 pm due to carry out Erection of poles foe new 33 KV Lassipora- Pulwama Line.

    Similarly, in order to facilitate the shifting of electrical Utilities the power supply to receiving station Wanpoh shall remain affected on May 09 from 11 am to 3 pm.

    Likewise, in order to facilitate the shifting of electrical Utilities the power supply to receiving stations Brakpora and Dialgam shall remain affected on May 13 from 11 am to 3 pm. (GNS)

    Nagpur: Maharashtra Agriculture Minister Abdul Sattar on Thursday said farmers will not face shortage of seeds or fertilisers and will get adequate compensation for crop loss due to unseasonal rains after ‘panchnamas’ (assessment) were completed.

    He was addressing a press conference after chairing a review meeting of Kharif season preparation in Nagpur division.

    “Farmers in the state will not face any shortage of seeds and fertilizers as these have been allocated as per district-wise demand. Compensation to the farmers affected by the recent rains will be given as soon as loss assessment surveys are completed,” a District Information Office release quoted him as saying.

    “A total of 46 lakh hectares of land was affected by excessive and unseasonal rainfall between June last year and now. A total of 57 lakh farmers were affected. The state government will provide double the relief set as per National Disaster Relief Fund criteria,” he said.

    Farmers in the state will get Rs 12,000 annually since the state government will pay Rs 6,000 over and above the Rs 6,000 paid by the Union government under the PM Kissan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Sattar said.

    SRINAGAR: Power Controller Kashmir has informed that, the power supply to Receiving Stations including Kremshore, Kanir, Khansahib, Raithan, Branwar and Hanjura shall remain affected on April 15 from 10.00 am to 4 pm.

    Similarly, the power supply to receiving stations Narbal, Sanoor, Zainkote, Shalteng and Bakshpora shall remain affected on April 12 and 15 from 09 am to 3 pm.

    The snapping of power supply is believed to have been done in order to facilitate the necessary maintenance of power supply lines.

Explain that if the PAN card becomes invalid, then there may be a problem in doing banking transactions. It is reasonable that PAN card is necessary for transactions above Rs 50,000. If your PAN card becomes invalid, then after March 31, transactions of more than Rs 50,000 may be affected. That’s why users should link PAN with Aadhaar before 31 March 2023.

    If you link PAN with Aadhaar by 31 March 2023, then you will not have to pay any charge. But after this your PAN will be cancelled. Also, to activate the PAN, a fine of Rs 1000 will have to be paid as late payment.

    • First of all go to https://uidai.gov.in/ website.
    • After this visit Aadhaar Linking Status of Aadhaar Services menu.
    • Then Enter 12 Digit Aadhaar Number and Tap on Get Status Button.
    • Then enter the PAN number and captcha code.
    • After this click on Get Linking Status.
    • In this way it can be ascertained whether PAN is linked with Aadhaar or not.

    How to link Pan with Aadhaar

    • First of all click on www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in website.
    • After that click on Quick Links on the left side.
    • Then click on the Link Aadhaar option.
    • After this a new page will open, where PAN and Aadhaar number will have to be entered.
    • Below this, right side validate button has to be clicked.
    • Then there will be verification of name, date of birth and address.
    • Then OTP verification will link Aadhaar with PAN.

    According to a notice issued by Executive Engineer water works division Srinagar , Alasteng water plants service reservoir having capacity of 18 lakh gallons is to be cleaned and in this regard many areas will not get water supply from 8:00 am to 10 pm on March 20.

    The areas where water supply will be affected include,Pandesh, Buspora, Soura, Anchaar, Nowshera, zenimar, Bagh-e- Ali Mardan, Zadibal, Hawal, Alamgiri Bazaar, Rajouri Kadal, Nallamar, Nawakadal, Bohri Kadal, Nowhatta, Hazratbal, Sadrabal, Nigeen,Saidakadal, Lal Bazaar and adjecant areas.
