    JKBOPEE: Provisional Selection List of candidates for admission to B. Ed. Course-2022- Download Here

    Pursuant to Notification No. 017-BOPEE of 2023 dated 24-02-2023, the Board notified Provisional Selection List of candidates for admission to B. Ed. Course-2022 in Government College of Education, Canal Road, Jammu. In response to the said Notification, the Govt. College of Education, Canal Road, Jammu has conveyed short fall of seats due to non-joining of candidates. In order to fill up the short fall seats and the seats that have remained unfilled after the last date of joining against the above referred Notification, it is hereby notified that the list of candidates shown in the Annexure-A to this Notification are provisionally selected along with waiting list for admission to B. Ed. Course-2022 as per their merit in Government College of Education, Canal Road Jammu.

    The Annexure-A shall remain available on the official website of the Board viz. www.jkbopee.gov.in only.

    The Provisionally selected candidates are advised to report in Govt. College of Education, Canal Road, Jammu upto 14th of March, 2023 (till 04:00 p:m) along with the following original documents/certificates:

    i) Qualifying Marks Certificate (10+2+3);
    ii) Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K / Ladakh (for candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent Authority of UT of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate);
    iii) Category Certificate, if any;
    iv) Date of Birth (DOB) Certificate and
    v) Any other certificate required by the College in accordance with the rules.

    It is notified for information of all concerned that in pursuance to the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines and implementation of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the admission to various Under-Graduate (UG) Programmes being offered through affiliated colleges of the University of Kashmir from the current session i.e. 2023 shall be made on the basis of score/merit obtained in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

    As per NTA notification for the Academic Session 2023 , CUET-UG will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) as per the following schedule given in the Table given above.

    Eligibility:

    • Candidates having passed the qualifying examination (10+2) with required eligibility as depicted against each programme shall be eligible to apply.
    • Candidates whose 10+2 examination is scheduled to be conducted during March-April, 2023 are also eligible to apply for CUET-UG (2023). However, they shall be granted admission to a programme only after acquiring the requisite eligibility .

    BOPEE Notification Regarding Admission For PGDRP Courses

    Pursuant to Notification No:012-BOPEE of 2023 dated 11-02-2023, the Board has received the shortfall of four seats from Composite Regional Centre, Srinagar after the last date of joining of candidates for admission to PGDRP Course at CRC, Srinagar for the session 2022. It is hereby notified that the following candidates are provisionally selected for admission to PG Diploma Course in Rehabilitation Psychology-2022 at CRC, Srinagar against the shortfall seats.

    The above provisionally selected candidates are advised to report the Composite Regional Centre, Bemina, Srinagar for completion of admission formalities upto 01-03-2023 (till 04:00 p.m.) from the date of issuance of this Notification along with all necessary/required documents for checking / verification. It shall be sole responsibility of the admission authorities of the Institution to admit only such candidates whose documents/certificates are complete /valid in all respects.

    Further the waiting list of following eligible candidates for admission to the said course is hereby notified which shall be made operative only on 02-03-2023 (upto 04:00 p.m.) and in case any candidate in the provisionally selected list mentioned in above table fails to join against his/her allotted seat within the cutoff date i.e. 01.03.2023. The CRC, Srinagar shall operate the waiting list strictly on the basis of Merit, subject to the eligibility of candidates:

    The Institution is advised to forward the list of admitted candidates along with shortfall, if any, to the BOPEE on 02″° March-2023 (till 05:00 p.m.) through e-mail. The other terns & conditions shall remain same as notified by the Board from time to time in this regard.

Course-2022 as per their merit in Government College of Education, Canal Road Jammu. The Annexure – A shall remain available on the official website of the Board viz. www.jkbopee.gov.in only.

    The Provisionally selected candidates are advised to report in Govt. College of Education, Canal Road, Jammu upto 3rd of March, 2023 (till 04:00 p.m.) along with the following original documents/certificates: –

    Note:

    1. Due to non-availability of the eligible candidate in reserved categories i.e. ALC/IB (02), SC (02), & RBA (01), seats have been converted into Open Merit under Section-9 (2) of J&K Reservation Act-2004 and have been filled up by the eligible Open Merit category candidate.

    2. The Principal of the Institution is advised to ensure to admit only those candidates whose documents are complete in all respects. In case if any deficiency /discrepancy is found during the verification of the documents/certificates including Marks Card, such candidate (s) should not be allowed admission under any circumstances. Any lapse in this regard will be the sole responsibility of the concerned Head of the Institution.

    3. The candidates whose ranks are shown in the table given below had been selected earlier in their respective categories vide Notification Nos. 009-BOPEE of 2023 dated 28.01.2023 & 013-BOPEE of 2023 dated 14-02-2023 respectively are now hereby treated to have been selected in Open Merit.

    NEW DELHI, Feb 22: The Ministry of Education has directed all states and Union Territories to fix the minimum age for admission in Class 1 as six years, officials said on Wednesday.

    According to the new National Education Policy (NEP), the foundational stage consists of five years of learning opportunities for all children (between 3 and 8 years of age) that includes three years of preschool education and then Classes 1 and 2.

    “The policy thus promotes seamless learning and development of children from pre-school to class 2. This can only be done by ensuring accessibility to three years of quality preschool education for all children studying in Anganwadis or government, government-aided, private and NGO-run preschool centers,” a senior MoE official said.

    “The Ministry has directed State Governments and UT administrations to align their age to admission with the policy and provide admission to class 1 at the age of six years and above,” the official added. (Agencies)
