i. Whereas, 30 applications on prescribed format were received by the J&K Sports Council in response to the notification dated 12.01.2023, 13.03.2023 and 27.03.023 for grant of sports category weightage to claim benefit for admission in MD/MS/PG & Diploma & MDS Courses and PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology under sports quota; and
ii. Whereas, the applications were scrutinized on 12.04.2023 by the committee constituted for the purpose under Govt. Order No: – 808-GAD of 2008, dated:- 17-06-2008 read with Govt. Order No: – 590- GAD of 2018 dated:- 11-04-2018 in terms of criteria In vogue; and terms and conditions laid down in the notifications issued for the purpose; and
iii. Whereas, the 28 candidates as per the list Annexed herewith as Annexure ‘A’ of this notification have been found eligible by the committee and points awarded to their sports achievements as mentioned against each; and
iv. Whereas, 02 candidates as per list Annexed herewith as Annexure “A” of this notification have also been found eligible subject to verification of their certificates from concerned Federations/ Associations; and
v. Whereas, the committee has also recommended to conduct Physical Verification Test/Viva of the eligible candidates at Srinagar/Jammu to ascertain the proficiency of the game/sports opted by the candidate; and
In view of the above, objections/grievances if any with regard to eligibility of the candidates or otherwise including points allotted/observations to their sports achievements made by the committee are, therefore, invited which should reach to this office at New Administrative Block, Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar on or before 20.04.2023 during office hours in hard and soft copy. Soft copy can be emailed on jkstatesportscouncil@gmail.com. Objections / grievances received after the prescribed date shall not be entertained. The decision of the committee shall be final in such matters.
The eligible candidates shall report to Sports Officer (K), J&K Sports Council, Polo Ground, Playing Field, Srinagar and Sports Officer (J), J&K Sports Council, New Indoor Sports Complex, M.A. Stadium, Jammu along with proper identification proof on 17.04.2023 from 11:00 A.M to 03:00 P.M. for physical verification test/viva. In case the candidate(s) fail to appear for physical verification test/viva on the scheduled date, his/her sports category weightage shall not be recommended to BOPEE. Telephonic intimation to the eligible candidates shall be communicated on their cell numbers

Hyderabad: The entrance test for admission into Telangana Model Schools for the academic year 2023 to 2024 is scheduled to be held on Sunday in two sessions.
The students who have applied for the entrance test – 2023 are requested to download hall tickets from the official website of Telangana Model Schools.
The first session will be conducted from 10 am to 12 pm for students seeking admission into class 6 and the second session will be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm for students seeking admission into classes 7 to 10.
A total of 70,041 candidates have applied for the entrance test for admission into classes 6 to 10. All students appearing for the entrance test are instructed to wear masks and maintain social distancing.
Telangana State Model Schools was established to cater to the needs of students from educationally backward mandals by providing free education by qualified teachers in English Medium from Class 6 to 10.
195 model schools have been established across the state and eligible candidates will be given admission into these schools after the examination.
Govt. Polytechnic For Women Admission Notification
The admission to the courses shall be purely on merit basis. The batch strength shall be limited to maximum 25. Each training course shall start only with minimum 20 candidates. Application Form as per Annexure ‘A’ shall be deposited along with requisite fee in the shape of Bank Draft of J&K Bank in favour of Principal, Govt. Polytechnic for Women, Jammu payable at Jammu with the office clerk of this Institute during the working hours by 20th April, 2023. The timing for these courses shall be notified in the Institution as per availability of labs / outsource staff. The training in each trade shall tentatively start w.e.f 24th April, 2023.
Bank Draft shall be returned to the candidate if the minimum candidates in particular trade is not available. However, no Bank Draft shall be returned in case the admission is confirmed. Also, no change of trade shall be allowed after confirmation of admission in one trade. Certificates to be attached with the application form:

SRINAGAR: Athar Amin Zargar, an officer in the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services (JKAS), has been offered a place in two highly competitive Master’s programs in public policy at the world’s top-ranking universities, the London School of Economics (LSE), and the National University of Singapore’s Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (NUS). This is an impressive accomplishment, considering the stiff competition and the institutions’ reputation as leading schools for public policy.
Zargar, who is currently serving as the Sub Divisional Magistrate at Thathri sub-division of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir, has been recognized for his outstanding work in the public sector. He has been involved in various infrastructure development projects, including dams, bridges, roads, and building construction. Additionally, he has assisted new entrepreneurs in establishing their businesses in the conflict region of Kashmir. In 2018, he became the Block Development Officer, generating employment for 12,000 rural households and building footpaths, schools, playfields, and bridges in rural areas. Since 2020, he has been responsible for maintaining law and order and executing welfare schemes and services of the government as the sub-divisional magistrate at Thathri.
