Admission Open in Handloom and Textile Technology (DHTT)
Applications are invited on prescribed format (as per Annexure -1) for selection of candidates for admission to First Year Diploma In Handloom and Textile Technology (DHTT) programme and Direct Second Year of Three Years Diploma in Handloom & Textile Technology programme under Lateral Entry for the academic session 2023-24, at the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, Varanasi. The eligibility criteria and other details for admission to the Diploma Programme in Handloom & Textile Technology (DHTT) are given as under :
The candidates will undergo bridge courses for mathematics, Physics and Chemistry offered by IIHT, as per the guidelines.
Note :
In case of the Board having system of grading in 10th/ 12th Examination, the candidates must endorse the proof of details of marks with their applications form to enable the selection committee to prepare merit list which is prepared on the basis of marks secured.
Age Limit :
The maximum age limit for the candidates belongs to all candidates belongs to all categories except SC/ST is 23 years for first year and 25 years for direct 2nd year. In respect of SC/ST candidates the maximum age limit is 25 years for 1st Year and 27 Years for direct 2nd year as on 01st July 2023.
Application complete in all respect along with self attested copies of requisite document shall be submitted in the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Jammu 3rd Floor, JLN Udhyog Bhawan, Rail Head Complex, Jammu 180011 or in the Office of Assistant Director Handloom of respective districts by or before 31/05/2023. Self attested Document to be attached with Form :
1. Copy of Educational Qualification Certificates.
2. Copy of Matriculation Certificate as DOB proof.
3. Copy of Domicile Certificate.
4. Copy of Aadhar Card.
5. Copy of Reservation Category Certificate, (if any)*
Any other relevant document.
No TA / DA will be given to candidates for attending the counseling at Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, Varanasi.
If the candidate belongs to SC, ST, OBC, Weavers’ Community, Economically Weaker Section he/ she must submit self attested copy of the certificate from the Competent Authority with the application form, OBC issued not older than 3 years from the closing date of application, EWS issued not older than 1 year from the closing date of application, weaver Certificate should be issued not older than 6 months)

Pursuant to notification No:022-BOPEE of 2023 dated 2-4- 2023 received from controller of examination, J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations, offline applications on prescribed forms are invited from the eligible candidates of UT of J&K / Ladakh desirous to seek admission in Bachelor of Engineering & Technology Courses 2023 under Sports category for determination of sports merit.
The forms duly numbered are available on payment of Rs 200/- in the office Divisional Sports Officer(J) J&K Sports Council, New Indoor Sports Complex, MA. Stadium, Jammu & Divisional Sports Officer(K), J&K Sports Council, Polo Ground playing field, Srinagar from 3-5-2023 to 18-5-2023 during office hours.
The candidate who fulfill the following qualification/condition as prescribed in Government order No: 808-GAD of 2008 dated: 17-06-2008, 946-GAD of 2008 dated: 15-07-2008, 1090-GAD of 2008 dated: 14-08-2008 & 733-GAD of 2010 dt: 24-06.2010 should only apply:

Archery, Equestrian, Handball, Rowing, Roller/Ice Skating. Skiing, Squash, Billiards & Snooker, Chess, Golf. Kabaddi, Karate, Kovaking & Canoeing, Polo, Power lifting, Taekwondo, Yachting. Kho-Kho, Body Rilding Ball Badminton, Bridge, Tenni-Koit, Carrom, Softbal, Wushu, Sport Climbing. Thang- Ta, Base-Ball, and all other games falling within the purview of Indian Olympic Association and/or recognized by the Government of India.
The other terms & conditions as enclosed with the Application Form will also be applicable for determining the eliqibility of the candidates for grant of sports category weightage. Govt. Polytechnic For Women Admission Notification
The admission to the courses shall be purely on merit basis. The batch strength shall be limited to maximum 25. Each training course shall start only with minimum 20 candidates. Application Form as per Annexure ‘A’ shall be deposited along with requisite fee in the shape of Bank Draft of J&K Bank in favour of Principal, Govt. Polytechnic for Women, Jammu payable at Jammu with the office clerk of this Institute during the working hours by 20th April, 2023. The timing for these courses shall be notified in the Institution as per availability of labs / outsource staff. The training in each trade shall tentatively start w.e.f 24th April, 2023.
Bank Draft shall be returned to the candidate if the minimum candidates in particular trade is not available. However, no Bank Draft shall be returned in case the admission is confirmed. ADMISSION FOR SHORT-TERM SKILL TRAINING UNDER PMKVY 4.0
In pursuance to the letter issued by Directorate of Skill Development J&K letter NO:DSD/401/Trgs/2023/3308.48 dated:21-02-2023. Applications on prescribed Registration form are invited from the unemployed/school & college dropouts for admission to below mentioned job oriented short term course under Skill Hub Initiative (SHI) of Prime Minister Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY 4.0) scheme in Govt. ITI Reasi. The admission cum registration forms can be had from the office of the Superintendent Govt. ITI Reasi free of cost during working hrs.
