Telangana: Pension Adalat to be held on April 13 in Nizamabad

Hyderabad: An Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) will hold an online pension Adalat on April 13 for pensioners drawing allowance under the Employees’ Pension Scheme 1995.
On Tuesday, a statement was issued, where participants were requested to download the Cisco Webex application on their desktop, Android mobile or laptop to join the meeting.
Cisco Webex is an application where participants will connect in a virtual meeting using HD video and audio.

As per the instructions, participants can join the meeting at this address 2641 441 and its password is enf1234. The programme will be conducted between 11 am to 11:40 am.
The EPFO subscribers can also send their grievances in advance through the mentioned e-mail (ro.nizamabad@epfindia.gov.in).

Telangana: Rs. 255.48 crores awarded as compensation in National Lok Adalat

Hyderabad: The National Lok Adalat for settlement of pending cases of various categories, pre-litigation cases including consumer disputes was organized on Saturday across Telangana.
A total of 3,30,866 cases including 9,262 pre-litigation and 3,21,604 pending cases of various categories were settled. An amount of Rs. 255.48 crores was awarded as compensation to the beneficiaries in the settled cases, a press release issued by the Telangana Stated Legal Services Authority stated.
The National Lok Adalat was held under the guidance of Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, Chief Justice of the High Court and Patron-in-Chief Telangana State Legal Services Authority.

National Lok Adalat held at District Court Complex Shopian

SHOPIAN, 11th February, 2023:-In pursuance of the National Legal Service Authority calendar and under the directions of J &K Legal Services Authority, a National Lok Adalat was organized in premises of District Court Complex Shopian under the Chairmanship of Riyaz-Ul-Haq Mirza, Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Principal District & Session Judge) Shopian.
In order to have maximum response and settlements between the parties in cases like MACT, matrimonial, cheque bounce cases under NI Act, Money recovery cases, etc., it was advised to organize pre-Lok Adalat sittings or pre-counselling sessions well before the date of National Lok Adalat so that parties may get one or more chances for entering into negotiation/dialogue with the opposite parties.
In the said National Lok Adalat, 03 Benches were constituted by the DLSA which were headed by Pr. District & Sessions Judge Shopian, Ld. Chief Judicial Magistrate Shopian and Tehsildar Shopian.
Total no of 108 Cases related to recovery suits, Traffic Challan’s, Civil Cases, Matrimonial Cases and Criminal Compoundable cases were taken up, out of which 73 Cases were settled amicably in the today’s National Lok Adalat with a settlement amount Rs.41,77,133.
Advocates, litigants and other prominent citizens also participated in the Lok Adalat.

Telangana: National Lok Adalat to be conducted on Feb 11

Hyderabad: Following instructions from the directions of the National Legal Services Authority, National Lok Adalat will be conducted on February 11 in Telangana at all levels from the High Court to Taluq level for settlement of all kinds of civil cases and compoundable criminal cases (both pre-litigation and pending litigation cases).
In this process, under the able guidance of Chief Justice and Patron-in-Chief and Executive Chairman, Telangana State Legal Services Authority, the National Lok Adalat is scheduled to be organized all over the state in all the courts on February 11 for settlement of all civil and compoundable criminal cases. The Lok Adalat is rendering services without any expenditure (or) fees. The court fee if any paid in the pending cases will be refunded, if the matter is settled through Lok Adalat and no appeal lies against the award passed in Lok Adalat.
The general public is requested to avail the benefit of the Lok Adalat Mechanism for the settlement of their cases in the ensuing National Lok Adalat on February 11 in physical and virtual mode. Therefore, all the persons who are willing to settle their pending cases or pre-litigation cases may approach the chairman/secretary of the District Legal Services Authority. Nyaya Seva Sadan in the District Court complex of respective Districts (or) the nearest Mandal Legal Services Committee/the nearest Court to get their disputes resolved through National Lok Adalat on February 11.

The National Lok Adalat is scheduled to be organised all over Telangana in all the courts on Saturday for settlement of the cases under the guidance of the Chief Justice and Patron-in-Chief, Telangana State Legal Services Authority (TSLSA), Justice Ujjal Bhuyan and the Executive Chairman TSLSA, P Naveen Rao.
The Lok Adalat will be rendering services without any expenditure fees in both physical and virtual modes. The court fee, if any paid in the pending cases will be refunded and if the matter is settled through Lok Adalat, no appeal lies against the award passed in Lok Adalat, a press release informed.
TSLSA urged the general public to avail the benefit of Lok Adalat for speedy and amicable settlement of their cases in physical and virtual modes, said the press note.
All the persons who are willing to settle their pending cases or pre-litigation cases may approach the Chairman, Secretary of District Legal Services Authority, Nyaya Seva Sadan in District Court complexes of respective districts, nearest Mandal Legal Services Committee or nearest court to get their disputes resolved on Saturday.
