Lathi charge on JKSSB protesting candidates condemnable: AAP

Why is the JKUT administration saving a tainted firm?

Jammu, 8 March.  Strongly condemning the lathicharge on thousands of JKSSB candidates protesting against the award of tender to blacklisted company Aptech at Dogra Chowk, Jammu, Aam Aadmi Party’s vice-president of Jammu province on Wednesday said that the government will not allow blacklisted company Aptech.  Why is she getting the exams done?  The gathered candidates were protesting against getting the important recruitment exam conducted by JKSSB from a blacklisted company.  During this, the police lathi-charged them and took many into custody.

Amit Kapoor said that it is less to condemn the lathi charge on the protesting candidates.  During this, about a dozen candidates including students have suffered minor injuries.  He said that JKSSB and JKUT have given tender to Aptech, a blacklisted company, for conducting the important examination.  He said that this company has been blacklisted in many states and recently in the last two months this blacklisted company has rigged many important national level exams including KVS, NVS, CTET etc.  He said that the government has failed to ensure fair recruitment in Jammu and Kashmir.  He said that most of the examinations conducted recently by Aptech company have been leaked, due to which cases have been registered in many states and the employees of this company have also been arrested at many places.

In such a situation, it is difficult for the candidates to trust this company.  Justifying their demands, Kapoor demanded the government to fulfill all their demands soon.Kapoor asked why the government has re-hired a blacklisted company which is responsible for more than 10 recruitments held in different states.  Involved in rigging in the examinations.  He alleged that the JKUT administration was shielding a tainted firm.
