In a historic moment for Kerala’s railway network, the second Vande Bharat Express, a symbol of modernity and speed, commenced its regular service from Thiruvananthapuram, the state’s capital, to Palakkad on September 26, 2023. The train will make stops at important stations en route, including Kollam, Chengannur, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, and Ottapalam, ensuring improved accessibility for passengers.
