Jammu, Jan 31: At-least 25 passengers escaped unhurt on Tuesday after a bus they were travelling in turned on its side on Rajouri-Poonch highway.
Official sources told GNS that the bus bus (JKO2BL-54570) skidded off the road and turned on its side alongside a mountain near ToTa Gali. As the accident happened, they said, the passengers onboard it raised hue and cry and were later evacuated by locals and army through window panes and through driver’s seat as main door was blocked, facing the side of the mountain. SRINAGAR: Senior Congress leader and Member of Parliament Rahul Gandhi, his sister and party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra visited Hazratbal shrine in Srinagar and Kheer Bhawani temple in Ganderbal on Tuesday morning.
According to news agency KDC Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra accompanied by senior congress leaders visited Kheer Bhawani temple in Ganderbal and Hazratbal shrine in Srinagar.
Rahul Gandhi on late Monday evening along with others pushed a private car that was stuck in snow on the Boulevard road in Srinagar.
Sharing a video on his official YouTube channel, Rahul Gandhi was seen pushing a car, which was stuck as the city received snowfall on Monday.
In the video Rahul Gandhi was also seen walking on the Boulevard road along the famous Dal Lake in Srinagar and also interacted with locals including boatmen and vendors.
An official said that Rahul Gandhi, his sister Priyanka along with other Congress leaders have left for Delhi.

Gurez, Jan 31: An under construction house got damaged due to heavy snowfall in Sardab village of Tulail in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday, officials said here.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that there was, however, no report of any loss of life or injury in the incident.

Srinagar, Jan 31: The flight operations at Srinagar International Airport resumed a day after remaining suspended due to heavy snowfall in the Kashmir Valley, while Srinagar-Jammu national highway remained closed for traffic on second consecutive day.
Talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Director Srinagar Airport Kuldeep Singh said flight operations resumed today after a slight delay in the morning.
“Several morning flights were delayed due to low visibility, but now the flight operations are going on smoothly,” he said.
Meanwhile, an official said restoration work on Srinagar-Jammu highway was still going on and people are advised not to take any journey till it is completed.
He also said train service, which remained suspended for a day on Monday has been partially resumed from Budgam to Anantnag.
The official said the train service resumed from Budgam to Sadura and first train ran at 08:30 am from Budgam—(KNO)
