JKPSC Withdraws 397 Posts Advertised in Higher Education Department – TheNewsCaravan Newspaper

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission(JKPSC) has withdrawn 397 Posts Advertised vide 4 different notifications from 2021 and 2022. The effect came soon after J&K Higher Education Department asked the PSC board to withdraw the posts.
The official statement released by JKPSC reads:
Whereas, the Higher Education Department vide letter dated 25.09.2020, 05.07.2021, 06.01.2021, 17.02.2021, and 13.04.2022 referred 397 posts (52+173+126+46) of Assistant Professor in various disciplines/ Librarian/PTI; and, Whereas, the posts were, accordingly, advertised vide Notification No. 08-PSC (DR-P) of 2021 dated 18.08.2021, No. 09-PSC (DR-P) of 2021 dated 03.09.2021, No. 13-PSC (DR-P) of 2022 dated 25.05.2022 and No. 15-PSC (DR-P) of 2022 dated 30.06.2022; and,
Whereas, the Higher Education Department vide letter No. HED- GAZ/2018/2022-04 dated 01.12.2022 required the Commission to withdraw these posts.
Now, therefore, in view of the communication of the Higher Education Department under reference, the posts advertised vide Notification No. 08- PSC (DR-P) of 2021 dated 18.08.2021, Notification No. 09-PSC (DR-P) of 2021 dated 03.09.2021, Notification No. 13-PSC (DR-P) of 2022 dated 25.05.2022 and Notification No. 15-PSC (DR-P) of 2022 dated 30.06.2022 are hereby withdrawn.
The candidates who have applied against these posts are advised to approach the Commission via email jkpsconlinerefund@gmail.com with acknowledgement receipt and account number for refund of the fee by or before 15.02.2023.

JKBOSE Class 10 Date sheet NOT Released, Fake Board Exam Schedule Goes Viral – TheNewsCaravan Newspaper

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Friday said purported date sheets for class 10th exams doing the rounds on social media are fake.
The board is yet to announce the exam date sheets, and officials said it will be done soon.
As per media reports, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) will soon release the date sheet of class 10th. However, a fake JKBOSE date sheet Class 10th has gone viral on WhatsApp groups & other social media platforms. With no official confirmation, students may note that the date sheet being circulated on WhatsApp is – fake and not official. Once released, students will be able to download the JKBOSE 10th date sheet on the official website.
While on Telephonic conversation with TheNewsCaravan Newspaper reporter Dr. Parikshat Manhas, Chairman JKBOSE has stated that ‘Date sheet has not been released as yet’. JKBOSE officials have confirmed as much. With no official confirmation, students may note that the date sheet being circulated on WhatsApp is ‘fake’ and ‘not official’. As for the tentative date for the release, no information has been shared.
The board had earlier informed that the examinations will be begin from 10th of March in Soft Zone Areas and from 11 April in Hard Zones Areas of Jammu and Kashmir.

It is hereby notified for information of all the concerned that the below mentioned candidates of Higher Secondary Part-I (11 Class) and Higher Secondary
Part-II (12th Class), Session, Special (Supplementary) Private Examinations 2022 (UT of J&K and UT of Ladakh) who are alleged to have resorted to the use
of Unfair means/Misbehavior in the Examination Centres, are ‘hereby directed to present themselves before the Committee for scrutiny and disposal of Unfair
means/Misconduct cases, strictly as per following schedule in the office Chambers of Joint Secretary Secrecy , JD at their own expenses to defend themselves against the charges leveled against them, failing which, it shall be presumed that they have nothing to say in their defence and decision taken by the Sub-Committee on the basis of available record/reports shall be final and binding upon them.
Further all the students and Supervisor Staff shall adhere to the following instructions strictly :
1. They shall be allowed to enter the JKBOSE premises only 10 minutes before the allotted time slot
2. No escort shall be allowed to enter the meeting venue.
3. All shall adhere to the SOPs / preventive precautions (such as wearing of Masks, social distancing etc.)
4. The students shall carry their Roll nos. slips along with them in order to enter the JKBOSE Main Gate
5. The Supdts / Dy. Supdts shall carry the entire Centre files including details of sitting arrangement and allotment of rows/ rooms to the supervisory.

Any one violating the above instructions shall be liable for disciplinary action under BOSE regulation.

It is hereby notified for information of all the eligible candidates who have applied online and submitted hard copies in the office of undersigned for the post of Sister tutor under S.no 364 on Academic Arrangement basis vide Advertisement Notification No. 24 GMCA of 2022 dated: 12/12/2022 in Govt. Medical College Anantnag, that the screening (Written test) is scheduled to be held on 10.02.2023 (Friday) starting from 02.30 PM to 03.30 PM at Govt. Medical College, Main Campus Dialgam, Anantnag.
The list of eligible candidates is provisional and has been devised on the basis of information provided by the candidates in application forms annexed herewith and marked as Annexure “A”. The candidates are informed to download the acknowledgement slips (Admit Cards) available on College Website (www. gmc.anantnag.net) from 04.02.2023 onwards. Any candidate who faces any kind of problem in downloading admit-Ca-RI may approach the office of Administrative Officer, Government Medical College, Anantnag at Main Campus, Dailgam.
The candidates are mandated to report examination centre one hour before the scheduled time along with acknowledgement slips, Identity Proof (Original) and two passport size photographs. No such candidate shall be allowed to appear in the examination who don’t possess the above requisite documents.
No electronic gadgets (Calculators, mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices etc) shall be allowed in the examination centre. If any such device found within the examination centre, his/ her candidature will be cancelled and legal action under rules will be initiated against him/ her.
