Answer Key and seeking of objections (if any) to the Computer Based Written Test (CBT) Examination for the Posts of Labour Inspector, Labour Officer, Research Assistant, Assistant Law Officer, Junior Librarian, Motor Vehicle Inspector, Motor Vehicle Traffic Assistant, Driver / Driver-II / Tractor Driver, Senior Horticulture Technician, Election Assistant, Patwari / Settlement Patwari, Deputy Inspector Fisheries / Farm Manager & Inspector Fisheries / Farm Manager, of different departments, advertised vide Advertisement Notification Nos 04 of 2020, 05 of 2020, 06 of 2020, 07 of 2020, 01 of 2021, 02 of 2021, 03 of 2021, 04 of 2021 and 05 of 2022 held from 06-02-2023 to 08-02-2023 and submission of objections — regarding.
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) conducted Computer Based Written Test (CBT) for the posts of Labour Inspector, Labour Officer, Research Assistant, Assistant Law Officer, Junior Librarian, Motor Vehicle Inspector, Motor Vehicle Traffic Assistant, Driver / Driver-II / Tractor Driver, Senior Horticulture Technician, Election Assistant, Patwari / Settlement Patwari, Deputy Inspector Fisheries / Farm Manager & Inspector Fisheries / Farm Manager from 06-02-2023 to 08-02-2023. The Answer Key(s) along-with the Question Paper in respect of these Exams shall be available to the candidates through the online link available on the official website of the JKSSB i.e. www.jkssb.nic.in w.e.f 16-02-2023 (04:00 PM) to 19-02-2023.
The candidates, having any objections to the Answer Key, may submit their objections / representations in respect of any question(s) and upload the same, along-with documentary evidence / reference by paying a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) per question, as a non-refundable processing fee (refundable in case of genuine / correct representation / objection). The procedure (as enclosed at Annexure A) to download the response sheet with model answer key, may be adopted.
Note :
i. The Objections / representations received after the due date and through any other means shall not be entertained.
ii. The candidates are advised not to share their login credentials / answer key with anyone and shall be responsible themselves for any misuse of their individual Answer Key.

Jk BOPEE Notification Regarding B.Ed Courses
Provisional Selection List of candidates recommended for admission to B. Ed. Course-2022 in Govt. College of Education, Canal Road, Jammu: Second list thereof.
Pursuant to Notification No. 009-BOPEE of 2023 dated 28.01.2023, the Board notified Provisional Selection List of candidates for admission to B. Ed. Course-2022 in Government College of Education, Canal Road. Jammu. In response to the said Notification. the Govt. College of Education, Canal Road, Jammu has conveyed short fall of seats due to non joining of candidates. In order to fill up the short fall seats and the scats that have remained unfilled after the last date of joining against the above referred Notification, it is hereby notified that the list candidates shown in the Annexure-A to this Notification are Provisionally selected for admission to B. Ed. Course-2022 as per their merit in Government College of Education. Canal Road Jammu. The Annexure – A shall remain available on the official website of the Board viz. www.ikbopee.gov.in only.
The Provisionally selected candidates arc advised to report in Govt. College of Education. Canal Road, Jammu upto 20ffi of February, 2023 (MI 04.00 p.m.) along with the following original documents/certificates: –
(1) Qualifying Marks Certificate (10+2+3);
(ii) Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K / Ladakh (for candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent Authority of UT of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate);
(iii) Category Certificate, if any:
(iv) Date of Birth (DOB) Certificate and

(v) Any other certificate required by the College in accordance with the rules.

The Principal of the College shall get the following certificates verified from the Incharge admission and countersigned by him/her before allowing the candidate(s) to complete their admission formalities.
The Principal of the Institution is advised to furnish the details of candidates, who do not complete their admission formalities as short fall on 20.h of February, 2023 (till 05.00 p.m.) to the BOPEE office, Jammu positively through e-mail [email protected]/ [email protected]
Note :
I. Due to non-availability of the eligible candidates in the reserved categories of ST (07), OSC (03), PSP (01), RBA (08) and CDP (03), twenty two seats has been converted into Open Merit under Section-9 (2) of J&K Reservation Act-2004 and have been filled up by the eligible Open Merit category candidates.
2. The Principal of the Institution is advised to ensure to admit only those candidates whose documents are complete in all respects. In case of any deficiency is found during the verification of the documents/certificates including Marks Card, such candidate (s) should not be allowed admission under any circumstances. Any lapse in this regard will be the sole responsibility of the concerned Head of the Institution.
3. The below given candidates who had been selected earlier in their respective categories vide Notification No. 009-BOPEE of 2023 dated 28.01.2023 are now hereby treated to have been selected in Open Merit.

JKSSB to hold major recruitment exams after March 15
Scores of aspirants appearing in the ongoing recruitment examinations conducted by the J&K Service Selection Board (JKSSB) have complained about the poor heating arrangements in the examination centres which has left them at the receiving end.
As per the recruitment schedule notified by the JKSSB, the written examination for d ifferent posts was conducted in the first week of February following which the candidates complained about poor heating arrangements in the examination hall&
“The examination staff provided a single heatin g gadget for one exam centre which does not suffice the needs and candidates were shivering due to prevailing cold weather conditions,” said Nazima, one of the aspirants.
“It was really difficult for us to sit and write for around six hours in the examination without proper heating arrangements,” she said.
Notably, the JKSSB had scheduled examinations for the post of labour inspector, labour officer, Vehicle inspector, Patwari, Drivers and other posts.
“This was not the right time to schedule the exam in the Kashmir division. The government was already aware about the cold climatic conditions in the Valley and written exams should not have been scheduled at this point of time,” said Anzar, another aspirant.

The aspirants expressed their concern saying that they were not able to perform in the exams which ultimately tells upon the merit of the candidates.

“It is not possible for any candidate to write the exams amid the prevailing cold. The poor arrangements in the exam centres ultimately affect our performance and we remain out of merit,” another candidate said.
The candidates said the JKSSB which is the recruiting agency for holding the exams for non-gazetted posts of various departments should have delayed the exams in the larger interests of the candidates from Kashmir.
“Recently, there were very few candidates from Kashmir figuring in the selection list of KAS 2021 exams. The number was less for the first time. The trend should not continue in the exams for non-gazetted posts. The candidates from all the areas of J&K should be given a level playing field so that all can perform well,” said Shahnawaz Ahmad Mir, an aspirant from Baramulla.
The aspirants of various posts advertised by the JKSSB urged the Board to delay the exams for at least one or two months in order to provide equal opportunities to them.
Chairman JKSSB, Rajesh Sharma when contacted acknowledged that a single heating gadget provided in one examination hall cannot

suffice the needs of the aspirants and said they will delay all the major exams in the interest of the candidates.
“We understand that having a single heating gadget in a big examination hall will not serve and examinees feel uneasy with such arrangements,” Chairman JKSSB told Greater Kashmir. He said they have decided to schedule all the major recruitment examinations after March 15 for the convenience of the candidates.
“We held exams for a few posts of drivers and other posts recently given the crises in the departments owing to the retirement of employees. But now, all the exams with a huge number ofaspirants will be held after March 15,” he said.

Jammu and Kashmir, February 15, 2023 – After a long and chilly winter break, colleges in the winter zones of Jammu and Kashmir have reopened from today, February 15, 2023. The resumption of academic activities in the region has brought a sense of normalcy and relief to students, teachers, and parents alike.
The winter break in Jammu and Kashmir usually starts in mid-November and lasts until mid-February every year, with academic activities coming to a halt during this time. However, as the winter season comes to an end, the administration has decided to reopen the colleges in the winter zones of the state.
The Higher Education Department in an order had said that the degree Colleges falling in Kashmir and the winter zones of the Jammu division will observe winter vacation from December 27 to February 14-2023.
It had also said that the degree Colleges falling in the summer zone of the Jammu division shall observe the vacation from January-1 to January-10-2023.
