Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir has issued an advertisement notification for the engagement of one Project Associate-II under the DST-PURSE funded project titled “Advanced R&D Centre for Efficient and Climate Resilient Agriculture Production under Temperate Conditions of J&K”. The position will be based at the Division of Animal Biotechnology, FVSC & AH, Shuhama.
As per the notification, the appointment will be temporary and governed by the guidelines of the funding agency. The selected candidate will be paid a salary as per DST norms. The post requires specialized qualifications and experience in biotechnology and biochemistry, with preference given to candidates holding NET or GATE qualifications.
Interested candidates are required to submit their application along with a detailed CV either personally or by email to the Head, Division of Animal Biotechnology, SKUAST-Kashmir, on or before 31st August 2025. The date of the interview will be notified separately, and candidates must appear at the Division of Animal Biotechnology, Shuhama, for the interview.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must possess an MVSc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry or an MSc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry. In addition, a minimum of two years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial or Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations is required. Preference will be given to NET or GATE qualified candidates.
Candidates with desirable experience in stem cell biology, animal cell culture, molecular and cell biology, and handling of FACS will be given additional preference.
