War with Corona: Army launched vaccination campaign in Baramulla, made people aware

The Army on Thursday conducted a vaccination drive for ex-servicemen and locals in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district. A total of 17 ex-servicemen, dependents and 54 civilians were vaccinated till noon. Along with this, they were also registered on the Covin-App.

An official said that in line with ‘Seva Paramo Dharma’, the Uplona Army Camp of the Indian Army conducted a vaccination drive for Ex-Servicemen (ESM). The Indian Army is committed to the well being of its ex-servicemen.

Continuing these efforts, a mass vaccination drive for ex-servicemen and their family members was organized at Uplona Army Camp under the aegis of Hyderbeg Sector. It also educated about the importance of vaccination and its benefits in the fight against the pandemic.

During this, a local citizen said that we are all thankful to Army’s 52-RR that they contacted everyone and called for vaccination. Earlier, we had made several rounds of the hospital but there was no vaccine available.

The army said that there is an appeal to the people to come forward to get the vaccine. So that the state can become corona free. Along with this, people should protect themselves and their families from infection by following the Kovid protocol completely.
