It is being told that it was a Pakistan drone, which was driven back. At the same time, in the Hiranagar sector of Kathua, the local people heard a drone-like sound. I also saw yellow light in the sky. Precautionary search operations were conducted at both the places but no incriminating material or leads were found.
On Tuesday late night, a red light was seen in Arnia sector at a height of about 200 meters. This light was towards Pakistan only. On the apprehension of the drone coming on this side, the BSF personnel opened fire, soon after which this lighted device went towards Pakistan. On the other hand, local people heard a drone-like sound in the sky at around 10.30 pm in Karol Biddo area of Hiranagar. Security agencies were alerted. After a while the voice subsided.
Local resident Ratan Lal said that he heard a drone-like sound. Yellow light also appeared in the sky. This light disappeared in no time. Sources said that the BSF personnel carried out a search operation in the area with the local people on the suspicion of having a drone. Apart from the residential areas of Karol Matrayan, Karol Biddo, Karol Krishna, forests were also searched. But there was no success.

The Arnia sector has become extremely vulnerable to drone activity. On July 2 also, a Pakistani drone had entered the Arnia sector in this direction, which was chased away by the BSF personnel by firing bullets.
