Telangana chief minister’s son and state Industry Minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) has questioned the pricing of COVID-19 vaccine for the central and state governments.
Working president of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) other than being a minister, KTR has stated totally different pricing was unfair and an try at discrimination.
He tweeted asking the Centre to soak up the extra price from PM Cares to assist fast vaccination throughout the nation.
We agreed for One Nation – One Tax (GST)
But now we see, One Nation – Two totally different Vaccine costs !?
For Govt of India @ Rs 150
And State Govts @ Rs 400

There is rising resentment amongst non-BJP events over the totally different pricing in the price of the vaccine. The native Congress leaders stated Sonia Gandhi too had written to the prime minister objecting to non-uniform pricing of the vaccine.
Meanwhile, Telangana continues to witness a scarcity of vaccines for the previous many days whereas the CoWin portal continues to register appointments. People are returning disenchanted day after day due to the non-availability of the vaccines.
