Jammu. The weather of Jammu and Kashmir continues to fluctuate amid the monsoon. The weather turned pleasant in many parts of Kashmir, including the capital Srinagar, on Tuesday, but due to clear weather in most parts of Jammu division, the heat again picked up. Similarly, Banihal recorded 27.6 degrees Celsius with 14.7 mm of rain, Batote 27.6 with 21.6 mm, Katra 31.7 with 13.2 mm and Bhaderwah recorded 28.1 degrees Celsius with 25.8 mm of rain. The day temperature was 25.5 in Leh and 25.8 degrees Celsius in Kargil. Day temperature is running 4-6 degrees below normal in most of the districts of Kashmir. The day temperature in the capital Srinagar was 5.2 degrees below normal at 24.4, Pahalgam 23.6 and Gulmarg 15.2 degrees Celsius.
