Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Tuesday challenged former Cabinet minister Navjot Singh Sidhu to contest against him from Patiala and lose his safety deposit like Gen JJ Singh.
In an interview to a personal channel, the Chief Minister whereas referring to Sidhu’s offensive against him over shoddy investigation within the SIT probe in Kotkapura police firing case, mentioned, “If Sidhu has doubt on my capability to lead the government, he should test the ground by contesting election against me from Patiala.” The Chief Minister was speaking in context of stories of Sidhu being lively in Patiala and his spouse Dr Navjot Singh Sidhu contesting from Patiala (Rural).
