The first meeting of the reconstituted Public Accounts Committee of Parliament will be held on June 16, with the members expected to draw out the agenda for the year.
Committee sources said the panel was likely to adopt for consideration and review the ongoing Covid vaccine strategy and management, apart from a review of medical and other essential supplies during the pandemic, specially the management during the ferocious second wave which claimed several lives.
Sources said the panel headed by Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury.
Members of the committee confirmed the scheduling of the panel meet.
The Congress has been demanding holding of parliament committee meetings for long.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi had said on Tuesday that a full Monsoon Session was likely in July.
