Politics in the Valley has intensified in the case of the sacking of 11 people, including two sons of Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin, from government jobs by the Jammu and Kashmir government. After NC and PDP, now Hurriyat Conference has also demanded withdrawal of dismissal.

The NC-PDP had condemned the action. It is to be known that all these employees have been sacked by the government on charges of anti-national activities and alliance with terrorist organizations. The Hurriyat Conference led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq asked the administration to withdraw the 11 recently sacked employees or give them an opportunity to challenge the charges leveled against them.

A Hurriyat spokesman said the Hurriyat took strong objection to the action and condemned the dismissal of 11 government officials. In this way, more than 20 people have been fired from service so far.

In the guise of the security of the country, this is an act done against all the rules of justice and fairness. Due to such indiscriminate action, even the working people are scared and they are worried about their future.
