PM Narendra Modi warns against overcrowding in hill stations, markets

New Delhi, July 13

Amid reduction in daily Covid infections in the country and a surge globally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said unsafe crowding in hill stations and markets was a matter of huge worry.

Interacting with the CMs of northeastern states, witnessing sharp spike of late, the PM said the question on everyone’s mind shouldn’t be when the third wave would hit us, but how to prevent it. Calling the virus an imposter, he urged a close watch on mutations, asking states to keep infrastructure ready. — TNS
