Many students have approached the Department of Family Welfare regarding this problem. In this, their problem has been placed before the Union Health Ministry, which has been sent to the embassies of different countries. In addition to Jammu of Jammu division, about five thousand doses of Covaxin were given in Rajori. In the Kashmir division, people in the age group above 18 were given Covaxin in Srinagar, Baramulla, Kupwara and Anantnag. Since, a large number of youth from Kashmir are studying abroad.
But they are being asked for a Kovashield vaccine certificate under the Kovid protocol there, even though they officially have a certificate of Covaxin. Apart from this, many countries are also asking for first provisional and second final certificate for Covishield, but many students have only final certificate and did not keep the first one. So far 1.5 lakh, 13000, 50000 and 55000 doses of Covaxin have arrived in the state in various consignments.
Difficulties will increase for those taking the vaccine without registration
There are also a large number of people in Jammu and Kashmir who have taken the vaccine dose without registering their level of jugaad. In view of the Kovid epidemic, the certificate of the vaccine is going to be important in the coming times. In this, it is also being made mandatory in government and private offices, institutions etc. Apart from this, this certificate is necessary for the benefits of many government schemes. But people taking the vaccine without being registered will not have an official certificate.
