Moeed Pirzada’s inanity and mendacity

Recently I posted this tweet :

” I will keep calling Jinnah a rascal as he was a shameless British agent, mainly responsible for the British swindle called Partition on the basis of the bogus two nation theory, which caused unspeakable horrors and sufferings to millions. If most Pakistanis dont realise the truth, that’s their problem ”.

In response, the Pakistani journalist Moeed Pirzada tweeted :

” Who rejected Cabinet Mission Plan that had offered a loose federal framework for a United India? With Defence, Foreign Affairs, Currency & Communication with Delhi as Center & Education, Policing, Fisheries, local taxes etc with groups of provinces? Who demanded division of Punjab & Bengal on religious lines?

British India as a legal & political unit was only 90 years old (1858-1947) whereas Punjab & Bengal existed with their ethnic identities & borders for hundreds of years! Please think & reflect before writing opinions that are called “figments of imagination” I hold Moeed in respect, as he has been bravely fighting against the reign of terror unleashed by the Pakistan Establishment. His problem, however ( like the problem of many Pakistanis ) is that he dare not speak against the Partition of India, as that carries a sentence of upto 10 years imprisonment, vide section 123A Pakistan Penal Code. So Moeed dare not speak the truth that Partition of India in 1947 was a British swindle based on the bogus two nation theory ( that Hindus and Muslims are two separate nations ), that in fact we are one nation, sharing the same culture, and were one since Mughal times. The purpose of Partition was that united India should not emerge as a modern industrial giant, like another China, and thus become a big rival to Western industry.

In his tweet Moeed refers to the Cabinet Mission Plan for setting up a loose Indian Federation which he alleges Congress rejected.

I had already replied to this in my interview by Moeed, where I said that the Britishers were determined to partition India ( for reasons I explained ), and the Cabinet Mission was just a ploy

The two main British agents in this nefarious scheme of partitioning India were Gandhi and Jinnah, as explained below

I submit that since India and Pakistan are really one nation, we are bound to reunite, however much time it takes, for unless we do so we will be wasting our precious resources in hostility with each other, and will remain condemned to massive poverty, unemployment, malnutrition, etc.

Our problems of massive poverty, unemployment, malnutrition, lack of healthcare and good education etc can only be solved by becoming a united highly industrialised country, and for that we require not a loose federation, but a highly centralised government consisting of patriotic, secular, modern minded leaders determined to rapidly industrialise and modernise the country and give our people decent lives. For that a high level of scientific central planning is required, which is not possible in a loose federation..

Some Pakistanis say why should we unite with india when Muslims are being lynched and other atrocities committed on them ?

My reply is that this situation will not last much longer. Presently no doubt there are forces which spread religious hatred and polarise society for political benefit. But people will one day see through this ploy and design, and then a powerful united people’s struggle will arise, led by modern minded, patriotic, secular leaders for creating a just social and political order, and for peacefully reuniting India, Pakistan and Bangladesh
