The official said that in view of the current circumstances of the Kovid-19 epidemic in the country, Chief Ministers of other states and leaders of other political parties have not been invited to the ceremony.

    Sources in the Trinamool Congress said party MP Abhishek Banerjee, election strategist Prashant Kishore and senior party leader Firhad Hakim are also expected to attend the swearing-in ceremony at Raj Bhavan on May 5 at 10:45 am. Sources said that soon after taking oath, Mamata Banerjee will go to the state secretariat, where she will be given a Kolkata Police salute.
