President Ram Nath Kovind has appointed Justice NV Ramana because the next Chief Justice of India.
Oath on April 24
- Justice Ramana will take oath because the forty eighth CJI on April 24
- He will retire from the publish on August 26, 2022
A notification with regard to the warrant of his appointment was issued at this time. Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister PK Mishra and Secretary (Justice) within the Law Ministry Barun Mitra handed over the warrant of appointment signed by the President to Justice Ramana this morning, sources stated.
Justice Ramana will take oath because the forty eighth CJI on April 24 and can have a tenure of round 16 months. — TNS
