J&K Education Department: JK Board’s 9th class examinations will be held on CBSE pattern

Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) will prepare the question paper of class 9th on CBSE pattern from this session. The 9th class examination to be held in the next session will be according to the new pattern question paper. The board is preparing the sample paper of this pattern and it will be made public soon.

The board has already prepared the question papers of class 10th to 12th in the pattern of CBSE. The board is currently preparing the sample paper by understanding the pattern of the question paper. Having question paper on CBSE pattern will prepare children for national level competitive examinations.

In the question paper, weightage will be given to analytical and objective type questions. The board is already preparing the question paper of class 10 to 12 on the CBSE pattern. New Education Policy 2020 asks to assess the communication skills of students which is not possible with theory exams. In CBSE question paper, equal priority is given to theory, practical and project.

The question paper of class 10th to 12th is already being prepared on the CBSE pattern. Now the board is preparing the 9th class paper also on the same pattern.
