People of Kashmiri Pandita community celebrated 14 September as Sacrifice Day. Since 1990, the Kashmiri Pandit community is celebrating this day as Sacrifice Day. A program was organized on this occasion on behalf of Panun Kashmir on Tuesday. The program remembered the martyrdom of Pandit Tika Lal Taplu and others and the persecution of the Kashmiri Pandit community in the valley.

On Tuesday, a program was organized on behalf of Panun Kashmir, in which Panun Kashmir President Virendra Raina, General Secretary Upinder Kaul, General Secretary (Organization) Kamal Bagati and others were present. Reiterating the guidance proposal, the members resolved to re-establish in the valley. During this, members paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives while protecting the honor and territorial integrity of the nation in Kashmir and on the borders.

Virendra Raina said that Panun Kashmir will continue to raise the issue of genocide and ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Pandits at all forums so that the perpetrators of these heinous crimes against humanity can be brought to justice. On this occasion, he appealed to the government to make the process of Ayushman Bharat scheme fast and simple. On the other hand, members of the World Kashmiri Society celebrated the sacrifice day. Tributes were paid to the martyrs in a program organized in Jammu. Convenor of Vishwa Kashmiri Samaj Kiran Watal, Pinto ji, MK Yogi and others were present in the program.
