While the state government has run Anganwadi centers to ensure the foundation of the students, now pre-primary classes are being started on the lines of private schools to attract children to government schools.

Director of School Education Jammu Ravi Shankar Sharma said that preparations are being made to start pre-primary classes in more than one thousand schools.
