More than 54 thousand students of the 11th board of the Summer Zone are awaiting the new order of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education. Due to Kovid, the board canceled the 11th exam schedule in April. After this, the board is yet to decide whether to conduct the examination or not.
Board officials say that the decision will be taken by the government regarding the exam and soon the board will take a decision after meeting with the government. This time in the Summer Zone, 54123 children of 11th class had to take the exam and this examination was to be conducted from 25 April to 20 May. In view of the increasing infection of Kovid in the state, Sarakar canceled the examination schedule.
Board Secretary Manisha Sarin said that children should do their regular studies instead of thinking of any other option. Do not think about parent or child mass promotion or any other option, keep your preparation strong. The board had set up 797 examination centers to conduct the 11th examination.
There will be a meeting with the government soon for the 11th exam. The situation will be discussed in the meeting. Whatever decision will be taken, it will be put in front of everyone.Veena Pandita, Chairman, JK Board of School Education
