In the year 2021-22, Rs 1125 crore will be spent on development works in 14 blocks of Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. This information was given by DDC Chairman Sarraf Singh Nag in a press conference. He informed that the capex budget has been approved in the meeting.

He said that this amount would be spent on schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, NRLM, MNREGA, Irrigation, R&B, Elementary Education, Samagra Secondary Education, Youth Services and Sports, Health, Urban Development, Jalshakti etc. In the meeting, resolutions have been passed while discussing many other important issues as well.

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Katra will try to fulfill the old demand along with paying attention to the problems of the baridars. Discussions were also held on the residents of the district to collect heavy toll at the toll plaza. It has been asked to forgive it soon. The resolution was also passed on the protocol and pay scale of DDC members.
