The dream of a population of thousands of panchayats on the other side of the Tawi river is going to be fulfilled soon. On Wednesday, the work of pouring concrete for the steel girder bridge has started, after which there is an atmosphere of happiness among the people. With the construction of the bridge, the old demand of the people will be fulfilled. The construction work of the bridge is targeted to be completed in October.

On Wednesday, in the presence of Public Works Department officials and public representatives, the work of pouring concrete was started after offering prayers. The construction of a steel girder bridge with a span of 58 meters and a width of six meters will cost Rs 3 crore. More than thirty thousand people will get benefit from this.

It should be noted that due to the wooden bridge, the movement of heavy vehicles is closed, due to which development has not taken place in the panchayats across Tawi. But the construction of the bridge will speed up the development. According to departmental officials, a five-kilometre road will also be constructed along the bridge, on which Rs.3 crore will be spent.
