Amarnath Chadi Mubarak Yatra will be started religiously on Ashadh Purnima (Vyas Purnima) on 24th July amid the Kovid crisis. During this, the rituals of Bhoomi Pujan, Navagraha Pujan and flag hoisting will be performed in Pahalgam. In August, Chhadi Mubarak Yatra will also go to historical temples in Srinagar. Due to Kovid, this time also ‘Swami Amarnath Chadi Mubarak’ will be symbolic. At the last stop, the stick will be taken from the chopper to the holy cave. Amarnath Yatra has been canceled this year due to Kovid.

Under the leadership of Mahant Dipendra Giri, Chadi Mubarak will start with spiritual activities from Pahalgam on Saturday. In this, after various types of worship, Chadi Mubarak Yatra will go to the historic Shankaracharya temple for worship on the new moon day on August 8, the next day on August 9, worship will be done in the temple of Maa Sharika Bhavani located in Hari Parvat, Srinagar. Dashnami Akhara will be established at Shri Amreshwar temple located in Srinagar on August 11 after worshiping the stick.

On the day of Shravan Shukla Paksha Panchami, after the traditional stick worship in auspicious time, with limited sadhus, on the day of Shravan Purnima (Rakshabandhan) on 2 August, Chadi Mubarak will visit Himling in the holy cave. Traditionally, Chadi Mubarak is the last stop on the Pahalgam track to reach the holy cave from Chandanbari, Sheshnag, Panchtarni. But this time the Pahalgam track could not be cleared. Due to which it is not possible to go to Chadi Mubarak from this track.

Like last year, this time too, the members of Chadi Mubarak confined to the holy cave in Srinagar will be taken through a chopper. Mahant Deependra Giri said that as of now he has not received any schedule from the Amarnath Shrine Board for the Pahalgam track. Due to the Kovid epidemic, this year too, there is a high possibility of the Chadi Yatra reaching the holy cave through a chopper. However, official information has not been received for this yet.

After the cancellation of the Yatra, all the traditional spiritual activities are being done by the Shrine Board. This time devotees from all over the country and abroad have been connected with the live darshan of Baba Barfani in the holy cave in the morning and evening. In virtual darshan, devotees are getting the privilege of participating in aarti and havan activities. Due to the lack of movement of passengers due to the cancellation of the yatra this year, the Himling is seated in a large size in the holy cave.
