Corona infection is becoming uncontrollable in Jammu and Kashmir. In the last 24 hours, 4650 new infections have been detected. Of this, 3187 cases are of Kashmir division only. Which is quite worrying. Not only this, 37 people have died in the state. Among those who lost their lives due to infection, 25 are from Jammu division and 15 from Kashmir division.
Oxygen demand and supply will be audited
In addition to the need of oxygen for Kovid patients in hospitals, a detailed report will be prepared on the need for oxygen in non-Kovid hospitals and private hospitals and military hospitals. The committee has asked to assess the need for oxygen, looking at increasing the number of Kovid dedicated beds from 4200 to 7000. The Mandalayuktas were asked to constitute expert committees at the Mandal level which would conduct the audit work.
Instructions for setting up oxygen war room
The Mandalayuktas were asked to establish 24-hour call centers in Jammu and Srinagar so that the hospital referral policy is strictly followed. On this occasion, the Chief Secretary also instructed the Health Director, Jammu and the Health Director, Kashmir to set up a mobile vaccination center in consultation with the municipal commissioners so that Kovid vaccination can be speeded and infection control can be found.
