Govt ‘rewards’ COVID Warriors of H&ME Department, Grants Sanction to Incentives

Srinagar, May 4: (GNS) In recognition to the companies rendered throughout COVID-19 pandemic, Government has granted sanction to the incentives to COVID-19 Warriors of Health and Medical Education (H&ME) Department in Jammu and Kashmir.

In an order Government Order No: 360 – JK (HME) of 2021 Dated: 04 -05-2021, a duplicate of which is in possession of Srinagar-based information company Global News Service (GNS), states that sanction is hereby accorded to the grant of monetary incentives in respect of COVID-19 Warriors of Health & Medical Education Department for rewarding the companies rendered by them.

The incentives as indicated within the order stand at Rupees Ten Thousand every for for Resident Doctors/ PGs and Medical Officers, Seven Thousand for Paramedical employees/Nursing employees, 5 Thousand every for for driver class and Class-IV (NO/Sweepers).

These particular incentives shall be completely for these well being frontline staff who immediately cope with the COVID-19 sufferers and the tenure of these incentives shall be for peak pandemic interval, for 03 months, ranging from the month of May, 2021, the order additional states. (GNS)
