Govt constitutes 11-member panel for implementation of NBHM in J&K

Srinagar/Jammu, Apr 23: (GNS) Government has granted sanction to the structure of a Union territory degree committee for implementation of National Beekeeping and Honey Mission (NBHM) in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Committee, as per an order a duplicate of which lies with Srinagar-based information company Global News Service (GNS), can be headed by Principal Secretary, Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare Department as Chairman with Director Agriculture Jammu; MD, JKAGROS; MD JKHMPC; Director Agriculture Kashmir; Representative of Forest, Ecology and Environment Department (not beneath the rank of Additional Secretary); Representative of Tribal Affairs Department (not beneath the rank of Additional Secretary); Secretary KVIC; Representative of ICAR; Joint Director, Agriculture and Mushrooms, Kashmir and Joint Director Agriculture and Mushrooms, Jammu to behave as members moreover Director Agriculture Kashmir additionally to behave as Nodal Officer of the committee.

The Committee has been mandated to implement, monitor and supervise the central sector scheme, National Beekeeping and Honey Mission (NBHM) in Jammu and Kashmir moreover requested to implement Mini Mission-I, II and III as per the rules of NBHM on the web site of National Bee Board (NBB).

The Committee is to take care of precedence actions beneath the Mission led by the National Bee Board (NBB), the order says additional. (GNS)
