Dilbag Singh, Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Chairman, Coastal Security Committee, reviewed the security being provided to oil and gas infrastructure at various places in the state at a meeting of the OSCC here on Wednesday. He asked the officers present in the meeting to upgrade the CCTV system.

The DGP said that there should be regular coordination and meetings between police, IOC and district administration. Regular interaction and exchange of ideas between civil/police officers and oil industry managers in the state is essential.

This will help in quick action. This meeting was not held for the last two years due to Corona. The meeting held on Wednesday is being held after a gap of two years. The meeting was attended by IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, DIG BSF Srinagar MA Joy along with various officers of Indian Oil.
