Corona: Samba became the first district of Jammu to be 100% immunization, spread of infection increased in Kashmir

On behalf of the Health Department, 100 percent Kovid vaccination has been claimed in the district Samba in the age group above 18. Samba has become the first district in the state to do so. Apart from this, 83.37 people have been vaccinated in Reasi district, 84.17 in Ramban, 81.18 percent in Poonch. In this category, 71.02 percent of the estimated population has been vaccinated so far. On Wednesday, 123299 people were vaccinated in the age group above 18 in the state, in which 40906 people have been vaccinated in the first dose and 82393 people have been vaccinated for the second dose. In view of the possibility of third wave of Kovid, the vaccination campaign has been expedited. In this, more than one lakh people are being vaccinated on a daily basis for the last several days. A target has been set to vaccinate all categories of people in the next three months.
