Baramulla: Indian Army organizes inter school quiz competition for students

A Quiz Competition was organized by Uplona Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Baramulla, Kashmir at University of Kashmir, North Campus at Delina. The event saw the participation of schools located in different parts of Baramulla. Each team consisted of three students from class VIII to X. The students were asked questions on various subjects like sports, culture, science, general knowledge, maths etc.

In a close contest, a team from Greenland High School, Delina, was the winner. The team of Greenland High School, Daulatpura was runner-up. School Chuda got third prize in the competition. Prizes were awarded to the winning team, runner-up and second runner-up. Participation certificate was also given to the participants.

Dr. Parvez Alam, Director Kashmir University North Campus, Baramulla graced the event. Since the event was organized amid a covid pandemic, all safety and social distancing protocols for children and teachers were strictly followed. The program was welcomed by the students and there was great enthusiasm among them. The students and teachers appreciated the efforts of the Army for organizing such an event in the time of pandemic.
