Jammu. The offices of Head Officers (HODs) of all the departments of Jammu and Kashmir will be connected to the e-office. Lt Governor Manoj Sinha issued these instructions at the Srinagar Civil Secretariat. LG also inaugurated 44 Digital Village Centers online.
The Lt Governor said that Panchayat level offices are being linked online with the offices of senior officers. This system is being brought to provide better facilities to the village level. He said that with the e-office facility, Panchayat Raj Institutions

would be directly connected with the important offices and officers of the concerned departments. For Digital Village Center, LG said that these centers will be a strong medium for providing skill development, important information and facilities to the village level. WiFi facility will be available here. The LG also stressed upon the implementation of the suggestions put forward by the public in the Awam ki Awaaz program.

Sparrow will start for all personnel
Information Technology Secretary Simrandeep Singh said that J&K Administrative Service cadre officers as well as all employees would be linked to the Sparrow system. Under this system, employees will be able to evaluate themselves.
Special online service for Kashmiri migrants
Facility of online services will be provided for Kashmiri displaced families soon. Kashmiri migrants will be able to get various types of services through online medium.

2 lakh files registered in 90 days related to 121 offices e-office
121 offices of Jammu and Kashmir have been linked with e-office. The movement of two lakh files has been recorded within the last 90 days. 86 in-person training programs and 50 online training programs have been conducted through e-office.
