Srinagar, May 3: (GNS) Anti-Corruption Bureau has mentioned to have arrested Principal Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jodhpur, Doda particularly Rajeev Kumar Mahajan on fees of receiving bribe from the mum or dad of an enrolled scholar.
In an announcement issued to Srinagar-based information company Global News Service (GNS), the Bureau maintained that it obtained a grievance in opposition to the Principal Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jodhpur, Doda particularly Rajeev Kumar Mahajan, who can also be Incharge Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bhaderwah whereby it was alleged that the complainant had utilized for the issuance of Transfer Certificate (TC) of his minor daughter who’s learning in KV Kishtwar, for her switch from KV Kishtwar to KV Bhaderwah.
The complainant, as said, contacted Principal KV Bhaderwah looking for her switch.
“The I/C KV Bhaderwah, Rajeev Kumar Mahajan, ‘kept on delaying matter and demanded Rs. 25,000/- for managing the transfer’ of his daughter from KV Kishtwar to KV Bhaderwah”, it says.
The complainant defined his incapacity to pay such an enormous quantity. The mentioned principal of KV Bhaderwah ‘agreed on an amount of Rs.15000/- to do the needful and called the complainant to Doda near Post office with the bribe amount’, reads the assertion.
“He approached Anti Corruption Bureau with the complaint of demand of bribe amount.On receipt of the complaint, a case FIR No. 01 of 2021 U/S 7 PC Act 1988 IPC was registered in Police Station ACB Udhampur and investigation was taken up”, it says.
