Twenty critically in poor health patients died overnight at Jaipur Golden Hospital in Delhi amid a critical oxygen crisis, officers mentioned on Saturday.
“The oxygen pressure has dipped as we are running out of stock,” Dr D Ok Baluja, the medical director of Jaipur Golden Hospital, informed PTI.
He mentioned the hospital has over 200 patients they usually had solely half-an-hour of oxygen was left at 10.45 am.
It acquired the final refill of oxygen round midnight, after hours of delay.
“Nobody has promised anything. Everybody is saying we will do our best,” the medical director mentioned when requested if the hospital acquired any assist from the federal government.
Dr Baluja mentioned the hospital has over 200 patients and 80 per cent of them are on oxygen assist. Around 35 patients are within the ICU, he mentioned. PTI
